Hi, I am finally going to start this. Its been a while since I have posted on the dis. I am been more of a lurker the past few months but I am trying to get back on track.

First a little about me and my DH. I am 36 and my DH is 38. We were married in Disney in 2007. We bought into DVC for our wedding present and have loved it ever since. So as you can tell we love Disney, more me than my husband.

I am excited to go back to Disney, its a much needed vacation. Let me back track quickly because I don't want to dwell on the past. In February we lost our first son Nathan, he was born still at 35 weeks. It has been a very sad time for us but each day gets better. As my title says" just keep Swimming" is all we can do. When we first talked about going to Disney we didn't know if we could do it but the more we though about it the more happy we got. Its a happy place and what better place to be when you are feeling down. On a side note, we are doing much better today and looking forward to the future with the hopes we are able to have more children sooner than later.

So the planning begins!

When:
Sept 4th-11th

Cast Members:
The cast members are my husband(38) and myself (36). Finally we are getting a vacation alone, its been a while and I am looking forward to it although we would have loved to have our son with us. If we are blessed we will have a little person on the way I hope by then.

Location:
Disney Boarkwalk Villas
We are DVC owners and this time we are staying at the boardwalk for the first time. We have a boardwalk view 1 bedroom villa. We are looking forward to staying in a 1 bedroom since we almost always stay in a studio. It will be a luxury and I am looking forward to the whirlpool tub! We stayed at the Boardwalk Villas for our free night after our wedding but we really didn't get to enjoy the hotel. I think we are really going to like it because of the close proximity of DHS and Epcot which means we don't have to ride that many buses! Even going to MK, if we really want to we could walk through EPCoT and hop the monorail.

Thats all I have for now. Its been so busy between work and setting up my new Etsy shop. I am hoping to actually become a disney planning specialist on the side so I am been doing alot of research on that too. With my past events it has inspired me to I start doing what I like because life is too short.

If you have any great ideas to make our trip special let me know, I am open to ideas because I can't think of any right now! Up next our Dining plans!

Dining:
I just finalized out dining plans today. I have a tendancy to change things up at the last minute but nothing major. We are doing the dining plan although I always question if its worth it for us. I would rather have an appetizer than dessert most times but its seems to still be a good deal. Here are the places we have planned:

*= places we havn't dined before

Dinner:
Big River Grille or ESPN*
Le Cellier
Captains Grill*
Teppan Edo- (we are dining with some friends from here that will be there the same time as us, looking forward to it)
Flying Fish Cafe*
Ranglan Road*

Lunch:
The Plaza

Breakfast:
Cape May Cafe
Captain's Grill*

Counter services we plan to hit:
Peco Bills
Cosmic Rays
Flaming Tree*
Yorkshire County Fish Shop

What do you think of my choices?

We have a few TS meals we will pay out of pocket since we only have 7 total and are dining at a 2TS restaurant. As for the counter service we still have a few to use. Since we are staying in a villa and have a full kitchen we plan on breakfast in for most days.

First, I am so sorry for you loss. Hopefully, this trip will be very therapeutic for you. After all, isn't Disney the happiest place on earth? ;)

Second, I think your dinning choices look good. I have not had the opportunity to eat at some of them...so I am anxious to hear reviews on them. My personal favorites on your list....
Le Cellier
Teppan Edo

I have eaten at Ranglan Road, but I was super stressed out when I did and didn't enjoy the food like I should have. (dh was back at the hotel very sick, we were about to leave for mco. Sooo... Worry for dh, Worry for staying on schedule so as not to miss the ME back to MCO, Worry that the kids and I would be sick on the long flight)

I love Peco Bills and Flaming Tree. I have neer even heard of Yorkshire County Fish Shop. Where is that located?

Thanks annmarieda.I was very excited to get dinner ressies for Lecellier. The Fish ship is the stand next to the English pub in Epoct in the UK. ITs a quck serve where you can get fish and chips, same as inside the restaurant.

Ohhhh...yeah yeah yeah..thats right. There is often a line there. It must be good, yes? We ate at Rose and Crown in February and were not terribly impressed. I did have to have some fish and chips while were were there though, so did cs at Columbia House in MK. Those, incredible.. but not horrible.

I haven't updated this in a while but we leave in 3 days! Can't wait.

I decided to buy an annual pass and purchase a Tables in Wonderland card instead of doing the Dining Plan. I think it will suit us better. We will see.

Lets hope for great weather and no hurricanes!
