We got up the same old time, 7:00, and got our things together and packed in the car. We decided to splurge and ate breakfast in the food court.
After checking out, a very quick process since everything was already paid for, we headed out.
At this point, we were ready to leave. But after a couple of weeks, we are ready to go back, at least the kids and I are. My DH, who doesn't like crowds, will probably come around in about another year. He enjoys WDW too even though you can't get him to admit it.
We passed by some pick your own orange groves and briefly thought about stopping. Wish we had. Would have been fun for the kids.
It seemed we stopped at every reststop in Florida for our DD. There's a beautiful one somewhere along I10 that reminds you of being up in the mountains.
We spent the night in Hattiesburg at a Holiday Inn. It was a shock to walk into our room. It was so big compared to the room we had been staying in at AS Sports.
The next day we felt we were finally on our way home. We stopped once again at the rest stop in Vicksburg on the Mississippi River.
We were home by 3:30 p.m. We said to ourselves that on our next trip we would not leave so early on the first day going to WDW if we can get home so quickly coming back.

. Probably the highest elevation in Florida! The day we went by it, it even had a lot of mist around it like mountains. Kim.
