Howdy Kids!! How was your week? 
Well, it was certainly a somber one Saturday Night Chat Institute Of Wine, Pizza, and Television Studies, as your humble chat hosts finally managed to escape the clutches of Disney officials make it back here to beautiful Bald Knob. . . .
Things looked bleak again when after chat last week, Marla was once again hauled in for questioning concerning the little joyride she took after making a wrong turn off the track at the Richard Petty Driving Experience. . . It was a tense and disturbing scene, and when venerable Disney character Ranger Audubon J. Woodlore took the stand and wept like Jimmy Swaggert while recounting having to peel Chip and/or Dale off the race car's grill, it certainly looked like my poor CO-host was going to be working the AK carnival booths for a long time to come. . .
But just when things looked their darkest, it was discovered that Marla had rented her race car with a Black and Decker Warranty Card rather then a regular credit card, and according to her court appointed Disney lawyer, ". . .was thus not subject to the liability terms, nor was she eligible for any frequent flyer miles said forthwith signee could be eligible for except in California and Oregon or where prohibited." In other words, she got off on a technicality. .
Having dodged that bullet, we headed back to the warm womb of the Institute, and after suspending all work in remembrance of the events of 9/11, we slowly resumed our routine; Marla experimenting with various tools of chat crowd control, and me swigging NyQuil and watching the second season of The Sopranos on DVD. . . we are, after all, professionals.
Any-hoo, it was an emotional week for us as well as I'm sure it was for most people. . . and since we figure everyone could use a night of relaxation and debauchery to unwind from the stresses of the recent days, tonight Disney After Dark proudly announces that we'll be heading to Disney's fantastic Polynesian Resort where we'll be eating, drinking, and sitting dangerously close to an open fire at 'Ohana's!!!
That's right campers; this tropical dining room is a wonderful place to sip rum from hollowed-out pineapples and gnaw on huge chunks of meat like Conan the Barbarian while small children chase coconuts underneath the tables and bash your shins with bamboo sticks. . . We'll enjoy this, and also take in the spectacular view of the inspiring Hanlaki Muaysalla Lauanala (Translation: "Tiki Lit Path to the Pool Bar") Oh, and we'll also drink beer. . .
So why not throw on a grass skirt, come by and join in the fun? As always, the food, drink and merriment are on the house, and everyone is invited. . . so fire up your computer, and join your chat hosts Marla and WillyJ. this Saturday night in the Main Chat Lobby at 9PM EST. It's a lot of fun, and a great opportunity to hang out with your fellow DIS'ers and get to know each other better in a relaxed, informal Atmosphere.
As always, general Disney or Universal questions are encouraged and appreciated, and there will be a room full of Orlando veterans there to help you out. . .
