Mardi Gras

I haven't been able to get much information for UA/IOA staff and I'm wondering if the Mardi Gras celebration will continue in 2002 as it has in the past. Does anyone know if the parade will be held nightly again and will they be tossing as many goodies? Thanks for any info...

All I know is that I and my family are going to be there opening night plus the 5 following ones and hope it will be as much fun as it was the last couple of years.

Yes, they are still gonna have the parade every night. It runs from February 8 through March 23, 2002.

Your going to be there too? Great. There are several that are going to be. I haven't told my wife much of this board yet, but I think we ought to meet when we arrive. AS the date gets closer we can definitely make arrangements on this site.

We will be there from 2/9 thru 2/20. This will be our 3rd Mardis Gras. I am still trying to get cheaper rates at the PB. Where is everyone staying and what is your rate?

We will be moving from the Polynesian to the HRH on the 7th and staying through the 10th. We have never been to UA or IOA and I had not heard of the Marde Gras parades until I started to read these boards. I am so glad that we just happened to be there for it. It sounds like a lot of fun.

We are staying at HRH in a Club Room this year vs. a Deluxe Room last year. Just wanted to try the club level and see if it measured up or if we made a mistake in not staying with the Deluxe that we loved. We got a rate of $229 a night(AAA rate) for 6 nights. Hotel is booked solid too.

We will be there 2/9 - 2/13. We are staying at HRH at the 99/night rate and hopefully will get the buy 1 get 2 day passes which are the reasons we booked. Hope to see you guys there.

Has anyone ever seen girls flash their breasts for beads? I've only seen it once at Universal.

The competition for beads can get extremely fierce!!!!

I've seen little kids get ripped off by 50 year olds... It's not right!

Hmmm...now I've got an idea. We could film MsDisney at Mardi Gras and then release a video called "Girls Gone Wild: The MsDisney Edition." The revenue on the video will fun all my Orlando vacations for years!
