My ticker isn't updating

The company that wrote that ticker software went out of business 10 years ago. It's on a little server and I have basically left it running with the intention of when it dies, it dies. For some reason it realizes that and wants to struggle to live!

So, no matter where we get a ticker, it’s not going to count down? I just want to understand, and if that’s the case, I will just forget about a ticker.
