ESPNZone is the best onsite... (Get there 9am-10am for a good seat)

If ESPNZone is full or packed...

Try Shakeys down the street. Plenty of DirecTV screens and $8 Lunch Buffet, Reasonable Pitcher prices.
Be kind to the staff, they're kids but they have remotes for all the screens, each has a separate receiver behind the TV.

Plenty of other options...

McFadden's at Anaheim GardenWalk is good

Thanks! Being from the Midwest, it is hard to fathom a football game starting so early as 10 am. We are taking a day off from the parks on Sunday, Oct. 30th to watch the Packer game, but were unsure where to watch it if no sports bars were going to be open. I made a reservation at ESPN Zone for 9:30 that day but will probably get there a little earlier, just in case.

DH always does ESPNzone and gets there when they open and has always gotten a seat and had a good time.

I'll be spending about 4 hours alone on the Sunday we're there for our 10th anniversary trip lol. I love my teams, but I'll just check in from my phone.

I have a rental property on the Big Island, it is strange that you wake up at 7 AM early in the season and find the early games on TV....

And what to do about "Sunday/Monday Night Games"... Some bars tape the games for those getting off work around 5 PM.

If you are willing to travel a bit, the Outlets at Orange has plenty of large venues that show the games, if you like the "fan" feel.

Dave & Busters is good, a large sports bar area is part of their restaurant.

Buffalo Wild Wings is another large sports venue (Another location is also nearby at the Buena Park Mall).

I was at ESPN for the Seahawks-Niners conference championship. It was crazy! But so much fun! Something I will never forget.

May I just add, the L.A. area is famous for it's transplants. So you can find a "local" bar that supports your team somewhere in the area. They can be a drive, upwards of 2+ hours in L.A. traffic, but you can get that home town feel, and maybe cadge a free drink by waxing nostalgic about your area's ocean/mountain/forest/plain/desiccated hell-scape(for you overly urbanized supporter. You know who you are:duck:).

Let's see if I can post a link (otherwise a google search for "nfl fan bar los angeles" should get the job done).

Are the local bars open as early as 10 am on Sundays? Bud Ice suggested Shakeys, which we will definitely be visiting sometime on our trip because we don't have any in Wisconsin anymore, but they don't open until 11 am on Sundays. A Packer bar was our first choice, but figured they wouldn't open that early.

Most "Bars" and Bar/Restaurant open early on Sundays (9:30AM), such as the ESPNZone and other mentioned plaeces. They know the NFL fans will want to be there, and want to keep the customers happy. I would just double check with the specific location. Also, due to NFL rules, a Chargers Home game might not be available.

I would say most bars are open on Sunday morning during football season. Football brunch on Sunday is kind of thing out here, complete with bloody marys and mimosas. It was a bit of a revelation for us, moving out here.
