The new room discount is live, I checked at about 5:25 & it was showing. I had previously checked just before 4am & it wasn’t there. Note you can book less than 5 nights, but the discount is 5% higher for 5 nights or more.

Yes. Try that. For me, sometimes I can change it but some times it doesn’t let me.

If I can’t modify online, I find it easier to make a new reservation with the discount, and then cancel the other reservation.

Just got the e-mail confirmations from my TA. We were already booked with a package for the middle of April. Saved $400 per room (we have 2), staying at Pop Century.

I tried to book a new reservation online because there was no availability for our dates but there was for a new reservation, went through everything then at the end after click purchase it say unable to complete purchase

I went back to the reservation and it was still there I guess it refreshed and was able to book online but only for a different room category which saved money. No discounts for my May trip, but if we keep new reservation with resort view we would save $664.

This saved us 2k on our April trip, very excited! My travel agent changed it for us and said the website wasn't even crashing, she was shocked.

So happy! At around 5:00 eastern, I was able to save more than $1100 on my Beach Club reservation for May. My daughter-in-law saved over $700 on hers for the same trip. Hooray!

Saved a total of $700 modifying a 7 night BCV trip in May, but encountered mega weirdness trying to book our August OKW trip. I really hate the algorithms they’re using, they don’t make any sense to me.

Didn’t have an OKW room booked because I was waiting for the 7 month mark to book using DVC points, but thought I’d check the new discount. Was looking for a 1 bdrm villa for August 11-16. I can get August 11-14 and August 14-16 as two separate discounted reservations, and I can get August 11-17 as one discounted reservation. No availability with the discount for August 11-16. So frustrating. Have booked the longer one and am stalking to modify, but I may just go back to the idea of using points even though it isn’t the best use of them if I can get a good cash discount. Either that or I have to convince DH that we want to stay an extra day…

Should be able to phone and modify while keeping the discount I believe. I think others have mentioned that as well before.

So I totally switched resorts now staying at the Beach Club with water view and saved $1500 for our stay. I have never stayed at the Beach Club only Yacht Club but I'm sure we will love it

I keep hoping the discount will open up for our Poly reservation which is for a deluxe studio, lake view. I can get a discount on the standard view studio, but not the lake view. We really want to keep the lake view.... I was wondering if any of you had been able to score a discount on the lake view studios?

I did see free dining with the lake view Poly studio but didn't actually try for the room discount. My suggestion would be to possibly take the standard view and continue to monitor for the lake view and modify if it pops up. We know inventory comes and goes all the time. But there are less lake view than standard view studios.
