My motivation this week is to stay healthy for the future. My nephew celebrated his first birthday this weekend. I was at his house Friday (prepping for party), Saturday (party day), and Sunday (eating leftovers from the party and putting new toys together). I had fun crawling around on the floor with him and playing in his ball pit and tunnels (well, I didn't actually fit through the tunnels, but looking through them as he crawled was just as fun). I was doing all of this as the older crowd was mostly sitting around and waiting for the baby to be brought to them. I want to be active and mobile for my nephew, but also for future grandkids as well as for myself! I like the active lifestyle. I mean, don't get me wrong...a day laying around binge watching Disney movies is a good time too! But most days, I want to be active.
Also, today marks 100 days until my trip to Disney's Vero Beach Resort. This will be our first time there and I am so very excited! It will be February, so unless there is a great mid-winter heatwave in Florida, I probably won't be in a bathing suit. But the idea of a beach resort still motivates me to want to be bathing suit ready (maybe for the hot tub). Plus we are planning on doing some biking and beach walking while we are there. And I'm trying to "walk to Disney's Vero Beach", but I might have been a little overzealous this time. I still have 661 miles left to walk in 100 days.
But I'm working on "it's okay to fail". But I'll keep trying and continue to keep track regardless.
