# of rooms vs. # of members

I believe the last number I saw for DVC members was roughly 87,000. If every member decided to take a week long vacation at the same time, would there be enough rooms for all of us?

Just a curious question for a slow Sunday night.

No, timeshares are not designed to have all members stay at the same time. Just think about it...if all members went down and stayed one week...the resorts would be really empty for the rest of the year, as most members don't have many more points than for one week (disers excluded, of course). There are many weeks of the year when the resorts are at capacity, with long waiting lists...and, only a small percentage of the membership is actually there.
