Hi! Thanks for the new thread. We can officially join now that we confirmed that the grandparents will watch our daughter and I bought our plane tickets!!!!!! We will be at the Poly from 9/4-9/7. This trip will be an adults only trip where I will finally attempt to conquer my fear of any ride that has a big drop!

Now off to book a Star Wars Dessert Party!

Yes we arrive late that day I may try to get a 9 instead. Our plane is suppose to land around 5:20 so an hour to get to our resort and get the rental stroller and check in and get to Disney Spring

That is a late dinner for me even... and I regularly eat dinner around 8 or so at night. It'll be quiet and probably a nice way to unwind after a long travel day though.

Just found this thread! Please add us to September 9th-16th at the Poly. We started by booking a Royal Room at POR, but missed free dining there, so booked AKL. Magically, after checking several times daily, a Poly free dining room opened. First time for MNSSHP and I can't wait.

It seems that this trip has started to consume every moment of my life. On the way to work I keep thinking if were heading down how far would be left. I sat with my little man and we watched about 15 minutes of the new fire works. I keep thinking of little things to get to make the trip better. I already bought new luggage, Ipad with screen protector and case, camcorder with extra batteries and memory cards, fan for my little mans stroller, cell phone recharge packs, etc, etc. I planted the seed in the wife's head last night on possibly joining the DVC. If you couldn't tell I am super excited about going back to Disney.

Joining in! We are a party of 5, staying at AKL(Kidani) for first time ever 8/31-9/5. I just booked Star Wars Dessert Party for 9/1 which I'm really excited about. This is a bonus trip since we just did a big trip for the youngest turning 21 in December but since oldest DD and her BF have annual passes they wanted to squeeze one more trip in before expiration.
We're excited about AKL but also a little apprehensive since we always stay somewhere around the boardwalk. Please tell me my fears are unfounded!!

AKL was voted one of the best family hotels by DIS readers. I have heard nothing but good about them so you should have nothing to worry about.
