I was among the first into the parking structure this morning. However, there was some event going on and the trams were running funny. Two completely empty ones left the station before I was finally able to board one. When I arrived at the park gates, the lines were already very long. But, friends had arrived earlier and I joined them.
There was no countdown and we were all surprised when they let us into the park without any kind of warning. I was the first one on Main Street, which was a nice return to the park for me - I’d been home in Chicago for three weeks.
First on PP and crowds were light today. Post-ride scoring on Buzz hasn’t been working for much of the week so I only did the ride twice. It’s not a lot of fun to break 2M but have no record of it. Scored 1.4M on my first ride and 1.98 on my second.
I rode POTC for the first time since it reopened - five-minute wait. That was nice… but I didn’t notice a single thing that had changed, post-refurb. Perhaps it was all behind-the-scenes stuff. Also went on HM, which was also only a 5m wait.
Several friends will be at the park next week for the anniversary, as will I be. Usually CMs line both sides of Main Street and high-five the arriving guests. I’ll see if they do the same next week.
