Well, it's been quite a while since I posted. Peanut arrived and I haven't had a moment to visit my favorite site since! Peanut is a boy!!!
We feel very blessed by our little angel. Now, to continue the trip.
We wake up Sunday morning, our last day because we leave at 6am the next morning. Sil, Bil and DN are staying until Friday. We decide to hit the MK because on our last trip with Sil, we had breakfast at the Main Street Bakery and relaxed and enjoyed watching everyone walking down Main St. DH decided it was a sleep in morning, so off I went with Dsil, Dbil and DN.
We enjoyed our breakfast; Main Street in the early morning and evening are my favorite spots at Disney! Then, we hit a few favorites, dumbo, Peter Pan etc. They wanted to hit the bigger rides, so I shopped a bit and then took the train back to the front of the park and returned to meet my DH at the DL pool.
We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon, soaking up the last rays of sunshine on our trip. Now, the big dilemmna, TON or MSEP? We have reservations at Tony's and it's our tradition to have that be our last meal of our vacation. Well, if we hit the first TON, we can still make our reservation and see MSEP. So, that's the plan!
We arrive at Epcot to a downpour. We are stranded at the bus stop under an awning for 20 minutes. There's no way a pregnant woman is going to run through the rain and there was lightening! Finally we make it into Epcot. We hit Spacestation Earth for the final time, Ice station cool and shop at Mousegears. Now, let's get a good spot for the parade. We find a nice bench in England and wait. Uh oh, those clouds look ominous. The parade is delayed for weather....delayed for weather....delayed for weather...the parade is cancelled! Oh no!! I won't see TON this trip. I loved it last fall and really hope that they keep it until we can return with our little Peanut!
Now, the mad dash to MK to make our PS. Since the parade was delayed, we need to hurry. We make it to the monorail, switch to the MK monorail only to get stopped for ten minutes just outside the train station!!
We finally make it into MK and have to wait 30 minutes because we arrived late! Oh well. The meal was delicious. We ate right by the windows that overlook Main St and were able to see the parade while we had dessert! A magical meal! We strolled around a bit, soaking up the magic. We watched the fireworks right by the entrance so we could escape with the hoards of people having the same idea! A very magical evening!
We grabbed an icecream at DL and sat by the big water wheel. My DN made my Dsil and Dbil sit by the wheel for the remainder of their trip because it's where his aunt likes to sit!
We all reflected on a great family trip. Everyone got along and we spent time together and apart. We are definately planning another trip together in two years. Of course, I plan on returning before two years!!\
My DN said he can't wait for his cousin to go. He'll be 7 and a big kid and the baby will be 2 and need the stroller, like he did on his first two trips. He can't wait to go on Dumbo and show him Mickey Mouse. A wonderful trip. Thanks for reading. Sorry about the delays in posting.
Reflecting on going 7.5 months pregnant. I'd definately do it again. We made it a relaxing trip and that made all of the difference!
