2 Adults, 3 kids (11, 9 & 6)
Here's the Breakdown:
August 20th- August 28th
Flights $1,177.90 (used points so no cash out of pocket)
Disney Aug 22nd-27th (Staying at Grand Floridian, deluxe garden room, free dining plan, park hopper plus tickets)
$6,317.56
Universal Aug 20-22nd (Staying at Royal Pacific)
$2,138.30
Airport Hotel $200
Transportation (Uber/Lyft) $100
Other Food $500
Other $500
Total $10,933.76
It's an insane amount of money, but we've never taken our kids and my husband and I haven't been since 2001 (a terrible new years experience at HS) and before that, we've only been to MK and AK for very brief amounts of time, so I consider this the first trip for us all. The goal for our family is to have the best time possible and not do it again (or do it again when the kids are teens in a MUCH less expensive way). We paid for convenience at both Universal and Disney. All that said, we're all really excited for the trip, we are huge harry potter fans (hence the very expensive universal side trip...) and can't wait for everything disney has to offer....
