I love Up the Creek. The sites are big and the trees and landscaping are beautiful. There are no bathrooms or laundry so you have to be self contained. I am here now. Thanks for the compliment on the new camper. We bought it in January but because of Covid-19 all of our spring trips were cancelled@rocketmom how did you like Up The Creek. Are you there now? Nice rig by the way
It is a beautiful campground. It kind of reminded me of Fort Wilderness on a smaller scale, with lots of trees and beautiful landscaping. The wifi was great. We had our laptops and didn't have any trouble loading anything. Our campsite was a premium creek site.@rocketmom , what a beautiful campsite! How's the wifi/cell signal there? Trying to find a few places to work remote from lol
Steve,Well we have officially cancelled our 2020 Halloween trip to the Fort. Good thing is that we do have our reservations for Halloween at the Fort next year....
Steve
Stork,Steve,
Really?, that would be for Oct 2021? How can that be? I thought reservations past Sep 26, 2020 were not open yet. Did I miss that opening and miss the opportunity to make a reservation?
Stork,
I had received an email on April 25th from my TA that has always taken care of our Fort reservations confirming that we wanted Halloween for 2021. We sent her the dates that we wanted and she said that she would book as soon as the days became available. I assumed that the dates would be booked as soon as the 499 day window opened. I was unaware that the 499 day rule was not being used at this time.
Steve
Well I just tried online and it was a no go. I'm curious to see what they reply with!
