Can someone tell me how to find renters for points in DVC

Log in and go to the "rent/trade" board if you're wanting to rent. Do not reply to any personal message you receive from this board as apparently scammers are more likely that way.

Or go through a reputable broker. Many recommend www.dvcrequest.com as a good broker.

If you're looking to rent points that you own, the rent/trade board is the only area this is allowed on this site.

Also...to use the rent/trade board I believe you need at least 50 posts in a year period.... not 50 in 2 days. Or you can pay a small fee and get right in. It's a great avenue to rent some points out.

Just to clarify, if you are a DVC Memeber looking to rent or transfer your points to someone else, in order to use the Rent/Trade board without a R/T Board Membership payment, yo need 50 non-Rent/trade posts evenly distributed throughout the previous 6 months. Our criteria for evenly distributed is at least 8 posts in at least 4 of the previous 6 months, with an overall total of at least 50.

The dates for the months begin each day, similar to the way the booking windows for DVC work. For instance, if you submit a thread for approval today, December 26, month 1 would be counted as June 27 to July 26....month 2 July 27 to August 26, and so on because that is the way our board search engine works.

It basically breaks down to two to three posts every week.

If you've had your screen name on the DISBoards for 6 months or more, the price for the membership is $24.95. If you are a newer DISBoards members than 6 months, the membership is $49.95.

If you are looking to rent points FROM a DVC Member or wish to obtain a transfer from another member, there is no fee or minimum posting requirement. But you need to reply into an existing Points for Rent/Transfer type thread. We no longer allow Points or Transfer Wanted threads.
