Safari closed oct 21 morning

At AK today. Was checking wait times and I see the safari is closed. Glad we did it earlier. But what closes the safari? I understand other rides where the computer controls all the vehicles, but this attraction?

Well, I would suspect something came up with the animals. Most of the attractions at AK are built around the animals. If something happened (good or bad) to any of the animals on safari, they would potentially keep the public out until it's handled.

Elephant poachers were probably spotted in the area.

sometimes animals walk into the road, and everything stops until they move. The CMs won't interfere with them

If, in fact, it IS open now (or at such time as it DOES reopen) can you please edit the title of this thread to include a date (or similar timing distinction.)
Otherwise, it can cause some confusion regarding the attraction's availability to other guests.

My guess is a truck broke down in a spot where other trucks can't get around it. Back open now.
