When you fly on a plane, do you fall asleep?
If yes…do you doze on & off, lightly sleep or are completely KO’d (knocked out)?
(multiple choice)

For Me….I can not sleep in public, I just can’t do it :sad2:. I need to know what’s going on around me at all times. When flying this past trip, I needed to use the bathroom on both flights and I noticed how many people were sleeping, some totally knocked out. I kinda envy those people, because for them the flight is over sooner and they’re well rested afterwards.

I wish I could sleep on a plane - very rare I may catch a few mins but that would be it ! No matter if I was up all night and got on a plane I still can’t sleep - same thing in a car - often feel like I’m the only person on the plane not sleeping ! My DD can sleep anywhere at any time - wish I could 🤣🤣
Put her in a car / plane she’s asleep before you start the engine !! Stays that way while trip no matter how long it is ! We’d stop at a rest stop and she’d not get up ! I’d be like lock the car wait here I’ll be right back ! 🤣

I can sleep on planes without any problems.
Sometimes, I would be asleep before the plane was pushed away and wake 30 minutes in the flight.

I’m gonna say I don’t sleep but I can recall sleeping once but that was a long time ago. My sister travels a lot and sleeps on the plane. She called from vacation yesterday and said she was asleep just after taking her seat. When she woke up they hadn’t taken off yet and security was escorting a few people off the plane. She missed the commotion.

I like sleeping on longer flights since it makes the time go by faster. Sometimes if I sit next to someone who is nosey/overly chatty is also a good time to snooze.........LOL. Why do some people think you need to relay your life history to some stranger you just met and will probably never see again?

I can’t sleep on a plane or car. I’ve never been a person who can nap easily, so that’s part of the reason. I also usually do all the driving.

In all the times I have flown, I have slept once. Accidentally.

I hate sleeping in public. My husband and kids though...they can sleep anywhere.

Depends on the time. If it is late, I can doze but that's it.
We have a long overnight flight coming and that will be what I do. I usually put on a movie, headphones and sometimes I just drift off.
Going to Orlando.....never.

On my recent flight home I did sleep soundly most of the way. I was exhausted and it was past my bedtime LOL!! I can sleep most anywhere though.

Y'all, I have only been on a plane once in my entire life. Houston to Atlanta with a baby & a toddler so I am sure there was no sleeping for me.

I do, on pretty much all flights longer than a couple of hours. I force myself to sleep to make the time go quicker. It’s not very soundly though because the surroundings are so uncomfortable. Steerage-class gets worse by the day.

If it's a long flight I can doze. I'm a light sleeper under the best of circumstances so I'm never totally out of it.

I absolutely cannot sleep on a plane. It's too uncomfortable. Maybe if I had one of those fancy bed compartments, but generally, nope. There have been a few trips where I was so exhausted after that I kind-of might have slept, but I'm not even sure.
