YES, the quiet alone time is very nice!I am usually a number 1, especially if everyone else is asleep and I have some wonderful quiet time when I wake up.

I should add, the above was my last 13 working years. I did work graveyard shift for 25 years before that, so 7 am was quitting time, coming home, getting the kids ready for, and off to school, then to bed about 9 am (830 am on good days). When I was working, I can't say because I never had time to look. I got up, checked my home and work e-mail and the newspaper while eating my bowl of cereal, get cleaned up, make the 13 mile commute, and be sitting at my desk at work an hour after my alarm went off.
Since I retired, I rarely set an alarm, sleep until I am ready to get up, and may be up 2 hours before I get around to having breakfast and getting dressed.
Absolutely!I'm a morning person. Love the quite mornings.
This made me laugh, because I get something similiar, except Kevin asks me….Me, almost always #1, rarely #2. Marie on the other hand is mostly a #3, sometimes a #2. She calls me a motor mouth, asks, 'who wound you up?'.
I'm ready to do whatever 5 minutes after getting upl. Body clock is around 6 AM, regardless when going to bed the night before. I read my 2 papers, have my breakfast, put on the TV news, put on the talk radio, check email, surf the Net some, all pretty much at the same time.
