Well, we are back from our 11/24-11/28 studio stay. WL never did come through and MS computer system was down on Wednesday before we left. Computers were so bad they closed at 2:30 PM. CM said, "You can call on Friday". 
Anyway, we went over to BWV on Thanksgiving night and told them about our reservation at SSR and then asked if there was a studio available. A lovely CM listened but didn't give us much hope because she said the only studio available was for two nights - Friday and Sunday! 
We talked a little more and she said she wasn't sure how they could handle the points anyway since we had to cancel SSR. She asked us to wait and went in "the back". Ten minutes later she came out and said, "We have a studio for you for all 4 nights." 
OHMYGAWD...we were stunned and oh-so-thrilled! Turns out it was one of thee best rooms we ever had...Room 5063 overlooking the village green. It was magical!
Two morals to the story: 1) Keep on hopin' for that WL and 2) It never hurts to ask.
Now, about our WL for 12/27 thru 12/29...
