We woke up early to get the rest of our stuff packed up and ready to go. Good thing we brought along two extra empty bags - with all the stuff we bought, we sure needed 'em!! Even with them, it seemed like our suitcases were bulging all around. We dropped our luggage off & headed over to the Magic Kingdom, our main priorities being to ride Splash Mountain (which we avoided our first day because of the cold) and Winnie the Pooh again.
We headed immediately for Splash Mountain and walked right on with no waiting! We wanted another ride on Big Thunder, but it was closed. We rode Haunted Mansion again, which was a treat. Then we headed over to Winnie the Pooh & got a Fastpass (50 minute wait!) and went over to Tomorrowland. The wait for Buzz Lightyear was too long, so we opted for one last spin on the TTA - Space Mountain was having some work done on it, so we got to see it with the lights on again.
But now it was time for our lunch ressies at Crystal Palace. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch there & got great pictures of the kids with Tigger, Eeyore & Piglet. Pooh just kind of walked through without really stopping for anyone, which was surprising. The food was really good, though. When lunch was done, we checked the tip board and hooray! Big Thunder was open - so we had one more wild ride through the wilderness before our Fastpass time for Winnie the Pooh. We enjoyed Pooh even more the second time.
Then we left Magic Kingdom for Epcot, where we wanted to see Tapestry of Nations & maybe ride Test Track once more. Well, when we got there, Test Track was not operating, so we just went & got a good seat for the ToN parade, which was just as beautiful as I had heard. Jack, being a fan of drums, wished he could have a crack at those gorgeous Milennium drums. After the parade, we saw Test Track was running again, so we hurried to get in line...but it kept running & then stopping the whole time we were in line and our deadline was drawing fast, so we bid Epcot farewell & went back to All Star Movies.
Our Tiffany driver for the return trip was Daniel, a super nice guy from Brazil. As we were checking in our luggage, the airline next to ours was experiencing some kind of major problem & the customers were screaming and crying and threatening. Guess we're not in Disney World anymore. Our flight home was super short, thanks to a tailwind & we all pretty much fell into bed upon arrival. I'm home today washing laundry & trying to sort out the couple of hundred items we bought during our trip.
Overall, the trip was as close to perfect as you can ask for. We had a wonderful time.
