So we are back in the room.. we totally chilled.. the kids colored and Eric booked the bounceback..WHOOT WHOOT!!

Then it was costume time!! and off to the bus stop!

We got to MK ( along with half of the rest of the world..goodness me it was packed!!)

Since it was relatively early we opted to go do some rides...We hadnt done the Laugh Floor so that was first then of course Buzz.. the line for Pictures was stupid long so we skipped it..wish they would come up with a faster way to add them to PP+!!

Taejan had decided he was going to try Space Mountain...

he LOVED it!!

Then it was people mover time.. we love this ride..

Declan has already ditched the cape..lol

And then it was time for Trick or Treating... last year we stuck to the Adventureland/Frontierland area.. this year we started in Tomorrowland

This was about when "Oh it's the SuperFamily" really became a thing..must have heard it 100 times in the course of the evening..whoot whoot!

The weather was gorgeous. I was so nervous about pre-buying tickets..but we had a gorgeous night. I so needed a redo as last years party was overall a disappointment... I had a better game plan this year and was determined to do a ton!

Taejan wanted to ride Barnstormer ( surprise surprise).. then we ToTed some more..

It was now dark and I wanted our HM pictures... we missed this last year ( heck we missed EVERYTHING last year!)... now I wont say how it took 2 weeks for Photo Pass to FIND these pictures and I wont say how I nearly cried that they werent on our PP when I logged in.. nope..

We headed over that way but of course there was a CM with Bubbles..and you know how my kids love bubbles!!

So we managed to get the Haunted Mansion special pictures...and PhotoPass managed to find them after losing them..whoot whoot!

Which we then rode.. something special about riding this at night, during the Halloween Party!

It was time for the 1st parade..we decided to go with advice and watch the 2nd parade..so we went off to ride Splash Mountain..at night..with the parade going.. that was awesome! The view right before the drop was amazing...

See that nice women behind me? She was a true southern belle and was very worried about getting wet..so being the nice Yankee I am I told her I would block the water for her... arent I awesome? Seriously she was a HOOT because every small drop, splash etc she was "oh Lord no oh lord help me"

After Splash we headed for the hub to grab a spot for the fireworks... I managed to get us front and center by the statue.. was perfect!!!

Then we simply moved up for the Villains party. Declan was very disappointed that we didn't see this last year...

I had absolutely NO clue what I was doing..but I moved the 5 of us up to the line in front of the castle stage and sat down. We got chatting with another family. A nice CM came and had us form lines..we were in the front for the Evil Queen..whoot whoot... I didnt care who we met..but it was nice to be in the front..lol


This show was AWESOME.. if you have never done it..go..now..well in Sept or October and see this..from the front is best!!

After the mingle we went to Frontierland to get a spot for the parade.. apparently everyone else decided to wait for the 2nd parade too.. man it was PACKED.. we lucked out and had a nice family with sleeping kids in a double jogger let the kids sit in front of the jogger! Its so nice when people are nice.. Eric and I stood in the back so as not to block anyone.

We love this Parade.. best one Disney does! ( and the fireworks..they are the bomb and we had such a better view this year)

It was now nearly Midnight.. we wandered..the kids did human ring toss ..some more ToTing.. then we made a bee line to the Dwarves.. I was praying the line would be less than an hour long...and it was ..by about 50 minutes..whoot whoot!!!

Somehow we had managed to do everything we wanted plus tonight..to say I was happy was an understatement. The kids were also amazingly awesome for being midnight!!

We hopped on the carousel

We headed out.. got one last SuperFamily Picture..

We stopped by the Firestation so we could get the SOTMK cards.. whoot whoot..the line when the party started was stupid long..after midnight..imagine that no one in it..LMAO...

And with that the SuperFamily said farewell to MNSSHP..and went and waited in a SUPER long line back to the resort..were we all collapsed in pure candy fed bliss!

This looks like a fun night! Better than our MNSSHP was. Your kids are so stinkin cute!

I love the Halloween Party. We missed the villains show last year because of the rain. Next time for sure, though. The parade and fireworks were the best!

I didn't know about those HM magic shots. Definitely going to look for those at the party next time.

September 18 2013..

Jadziah woke up with VERY chlorine irritated eyes. I got up and headed down to the gift shop hoping they had visine...they did! I had lost my earrings so I bought myself some of those while I was there. I'm not a "made up" kinda girl but I must have earrings in!!

Went back to the room and got the drops in the girls eyes.. and made sure to bring them with us! We hopped on a bus to AK..I can't believe we've been here nearly a week and are just now getting to AK!!

In pretty quickly.. we always feel badly for the CM's people blow by at the entrance so we stopped to learn about some cockroaches...

off to the Safari... stopping more than once on the way..

Taejan found the perfect "Turtle Man hat"

We stopped first for something to eat because we were all getting rather grumpy.

We hopped in the line for the Safari..and amazingly as we got to the left/right split I ran into a friend from home..we both knew we would be here at the same time but I did not think we'd run into each other!!

Now it was Safari time... we had a pretty low key guide..

The Lions were awesome..but I had the crappy point n shoot...grrrr

We got done on the safari and surprise surprise it was raining.... Ziah's eyes were really bothering her so she had taken my sunglasses... so I was glad for the break from the sun!

Hi. Just caught up with your fabulous trip report! Love the pictures and the storytelling. I have to agree with you about the Boo to You Parade, there isn't another that even comes close for me. I'd pay for the tickets just to see it.

I'm really looking forward to reading the rest. As we travel from England we take long trips too, and the relaxed pace makes it so much better.

Yes..the Halloween parade and fireworks are the BEST!!!!! and I love the longer trips..we can actually relax and have a true vacation!

So we have ridden the Safari and its now pouring... awesomeness... we headed over to Expedition Everest... my oh so favorite ride...


I think the little turds were doing a rain song..

So.. Taejan wanted to ride...which means I had to ride..which means I was in a rotten mood... i HATE this ride.. Declan waited for us in the gift shop ( he's almost 12...hes big enough!)

Have I mentioned I HATE this ride.. we get to the dark part and I literally had to force myself to NOT try and climb out... hate hate hate!!

Ziah loves it.. Taejan ended up loving it..me.. I was off feeling the rest of the day!

Since we had PP+ I took every chance I could for pictures.. seriously this is the only time we get any family pictures!

Since we were already wet we opted to go ride Kali...

no one was feeling AK anymore..in fact I was feeling overall cruddy so we headed towards the front of the park... got some more pictures on the way

We had the pictures scanned to our MB ( first day they could do this )and we were asked to stop at the front of the park and see if it worked..ugh..

Took a good 20 minutes but they linked all the pictures and such.. was glad to be the test dummy!

After a very short and wet morning at AK we were back at PORS...

The kids were beat.. I was beat.. we decided to just chill..

We did basically nothing for a few hours then decided since the rain had stopped we would take the boat to DtD...Jadziah has been complaing because we had not yet gotten there..

We are now on the boat..and guess what..its pouring.. and we are getting SOAKED>..and I just dont have the patience for this nonsense right now.. so we opted to get off at POFQ.

i LOVE POFQ..the ONLY two downfalls of this resort are the lack or variety in the foodcourt and NO quiet pool..I feel like they need at least ONE!

So we decided to eat here.. it was nice being back...I truly love this little place!

after we ate we opted to walk back to PORS instead of waiting for a boat...

On the way back as we passed the mansions I say "Oh what a pretty fountain" and Ziah asks "Whats a Felon"...laughter erupted and that would become another catch phrase. For the last 5 days ( or 6 or whatever) every time something had gone wrong we said "at least we didnt drop the silverware"..so now the felons would also join us in our crazy rantings....

We went to the quiet pool and let the kids swim for awhile..

I went and got Taejan a coloring book...

We soon went back and crashed out.. hard... I think we should have slept in and relaxed more of this day after the halloween party..it was def not one of our best days!
