Trip Report - September/October 2022

Tuesday 9/27/22
We went to the gym about 6:30

We bought our Genie+ right before 7. Since we were heading to Epcot today, we wanted to get the Virtual Queue for Guardians of the Galaxy and book our first genie+ selection at 7. I did the virtual queue first - group 54. And I was able to book our first Genie+ selection for Remy good from 10:15-11:15. I thought that worked pretty smoothly. We continued our workout once those tasks were done. Scott didn’t have to pause, he just amused me by listening to me telling him that we got the virtual queue and Remy.

Back in the villa, our normal morning routine of laundry, jacuzzi, showers, and breakfast.

At 8:30 (when Epcot opened) I bought an Individual Lightening Lane for Scott for Guardians of the Galaxy good from 12:20-1:20. He’ll ride first by himself and let me know if he thinks I can go on it.

We headed to Epcot. We stopped for a few pictures.

58623F5F-0415-4CEE-B450-DB0E90CD49D6.jpeg

You probably noticed that Scott doesn’t really smile much in pictures. He’s laughing in the next one because the photographer was asking the people to line up along the concrete and this woman instead of standing alongside it went right into the grass. It doesn’t sound that funny but when we were there it was hysterical and the photographer caught Scott cracking up about it.

We headed into World Showcase towards France as we were in the window to ride Remy. Since it was two hours after the park opened we were able to book our next Genie+ selection and booked Soarin which had a return time about 10 minutes later; good from 10:50-11:50.

Remy is a cute ride. After riding we headed back towards the front of the park.

We tapped into Soarin around 11:30 and were able to book Living with the Land valid from 11:35-12:35.
Soarin was a lot of fun and we were in the middle section this time to everything looked straight. The last time we rode we were towards one of the sides near the end and many of the landmarks looked curved.

We headed right onto Living with the Land, very convenient since it’s right near Soarin about 11:50 and booked The Seas with Nemo for 11:55-12:55.

We enjoyed our ride on Living with the Land, then headed over the Seas and tapped in to enjoy our ride with Nemo.

It’s great when the Genie+ options work out like this where you tap in and can choose another attraction starting within a few minutes.

It was time for Scott’s ILL for Guardians of the Galaxy. I waited for him and it took about 40 minutes for him to get back. I booked a Genie+ for Figment while waiting which was good from 1:20-2:20

He thought Guardians of the Galaxy was amazing but would probably make me sick. He mentioned that the virtual queue line seemed to be moving slower then the ILL lines. I didn’t ride not wanting to take a chance getting sick. We didn’t use the virtual queue.

We took a few pictures

We stopped in the Creations Shop. I found a few shirts and Scott found a hat. When we checked out they didn’t have any regular bags for your purchases except for the reusable ones you could buy if you wanted to.

We tapped into Figment and got a Genie+ selection for Spaceship Earth good for a few minutes later from 2-3.

Spaceship Earth was decent but the attraction stopped several times while riding. This has happened the last few times. Not a big deal and not for long but a minute here, a minute there.

6623346D-24FB-46D6-9F4A-282715E2D9E2.jpeg

We headed out of the park and back to Vistana Villages. I think we went swimming for a little while.

Soon it was time to shower and change and head out for the evening.

We drove to the Dolphin and valet parked. We have dinner reservations at Shula’s later; we were a bit early.

We took a walk around the Boardwalk area

I’m kind of short so had to stand on my toes so you could see my head above the sign.

We headed back towards the Dolphin and walked around the resort a bit.

We checked in at Shula’s and headed to the bar to have a drink.

The bartender said the blueberry martini is their best drink so I tried it. Scott had his normal martini.

I didn’t like the blueberry martini so ordered a white sangria which was really good.

441A05FB-DAE2-481C-9257-A3222CBE9DDC.jpeg

We decided to eat at the bar rather than moving to a table; Scott let the hostess know so they could use our table for others.

The bread is warm, soft, and delicious.
C14DFB14-A85C-4D71-A911-CF1D8B25D1F4.jpeg

We shared the tuna tartare appetizer which comes with wonton chips. We loved this last time we were here. I still thought it was great; Scott thought it was good but not great this time.

AB0A7CC9-C09E-43C8-8663-07BDA204A71E.jpeg

For our entree we shared the dry aged cowboy steak. It’s not on the regular menu but was a special. This was amazing; it melted in your mouth. We also had the macaroni and cheese. Scott said this was the best Mac & cheese of the trip. I liked the Mac & cheese here too. Even sharing we had a lot of leftovers.

With Hurricane Ian heading to Florida, Disney parks will be closed for the next two days (Wednesday and Thursday). This notice showed up earlier.

We planned to walk to Epcot for the fireworks after dinner but by the time we were done they already started. We saw some from right outside then headed back to the resort.

Wednesday 9/28/22
We went to the gym at 6:30. It was raining.

We did our normal morning routine of laundry, jacuzzi, showers and breakfast.

It’s a little weird not leaving for a park.

Hurricane Ian is close to a category 5 and headed towards Florida with expected landfall later today.

We were advised to shelter in place, bring the furniture from the balcony inside the villa, and fill the jacuzzi with water. I didn’t understand the water in the jacuzzi part but found out it’s in case we lose power to be able to flush the toilet.

We hung out in the villa. We poked around on the computer. We watched TV.

We walked around the resort a bit just to get out of the villa for a little while. The Marketplace was open so we picked up pizza for lunch. They cooked it (heated it up) and we brought it back to the villa. It was better than expected.

0950EAFA-99B5-435C-9F13-8A5CA9E77226.jpeg

We watched some movies. We re-arranged some of our things in the villa. We did some more laundry.

We were a bit nervous not knowing what to expect and whether we would lose power or what would happen.

Later for dinner we ate our leftovers from Shula’s. We made sandwiches out of the steak on English Muffins.

2F8ACBFD-FE0D-4D20-BE56-C15A1193A3E0.jpeg

We shared the Vanilla Oreo cake from Gideon’s. It was good but the ratio of frosting to cake is off; there is too much frosting.

908AE355-06EF-4D84-AD92-265F348B1D31.jpeg

We continued alternating between watching the news and watching movies.

Throughout the night alerts kept going off on the phone.

We went outside on the balcony during the storm and took some videos; I can’t post them here. It was pretty crazy. The wind was howling and the rain was coming down sideways.

It was scary. We kept our fingers crossed that it would pass by without too much damage. The images on the news were frightening; some parts of Florida were getting hit horribly by this hurricane.

Thursday 9/29/22
It was a nerve wracking night with phone alerts going off and the wind and rain howling outside
In the morning most resort services were still closed and we were advised to remain in our villa.
We were lucky that we didn’t lose power.

Looking out from our balcony the lake was higher and the bottoms of some trees underwater.
B9A22D62-2F6C-4169-834F-824C9FA580DC.jpeg

Not being able to go to the gym (we assumed that would be closed too but didn’t go check) we did some stretching, sit ups, pushups, etc in the room.

We did a somewhat normal morning routine of laundry, jacuzzi, showers and making breakfast.

Around 1 we took a bit of a walk around the resort and saw people driving around so we decided to take a drive to see what it looked like outside the resort. Everything we passed was closed. There were some branches down here and there and some deep puddles.

We headed back to the resort and walked around there some more to see what was open. We were surprised the Marketplace was open. The people working there said they have been there since yesterday and haven’t gone home yet.

Back in our villa we watched some more TV, used the computer, a pretty low-key afternoon.

Disney is planning a phased re-opening tomorrow (Friday) of the parks and Disney Springs.

Later we started looking online to see if any restaurants were open for dinner; the majority were closed.
We found a nearby Carrabas and Miller’s Ale House listed as open. We called to confirm and they said they were open for dinner, but were short staffed with limited menus.

We drove to Carrabas but it was jam packed. Checking online I saw that Shula’s at the Dolphin was open so we drove there.

We sat at the bar. Everyone we spoke with seemed to be in good spirits. We were all chatting about the hurricane and how everyone fared. I know many people suffered severe damage but Orlando (or maybe just the Disney area) didn’t seem as bad as people were expecting.

Scott had his normal martini and I had a white sangria.

They had a limited menu tonight which I’ll post since it’s different than what you normally would see.

We shared the Filet, the broccoli, and the macaroni and cheese. Everything was really good. Even sharing we had leftovers.

11A56ED4-E12A-43F1-A93C-441A8173987E.jpeg

We walked around the Boardwalk area a bit then headed back to Vistana Villages. We heard more about Disney’s phased re-opening tomorrow; we were pretty impressed how quickly they were able to re-open.

Friday 9/30/22
We went to the gym around 6:15

Just before 7 we bought Genie+ for today and booked our first attraction at Smugglers Run.
With that taken care of we continued our workout.

Back in the villa our normal routine of laundry, jacuzzi, showers, and breakfast.

The trees are looking better today - the bottoms aren’t underwater anymore. The sun is out and the weather is really nice.

We drove to Hollywood Studios.

Scott went on the single rider line at Rock N Roller Coaster.

We went to Tower of Terror. The standby wait said 30 minutes but we were on in 15 (I timed it). This is one of my favorite attractions.

The standby wait for Rise of the Resistance was listed as 70 minutes. We got in line and were on in about 40 minutes.

2AEE0D2B-26B4-4DB2-9351-28EA5B747907.jpeg

We enjoyed it but found it a bit underwhelming given all the hype around it. We thought the same the first time we rode when the ride broke down and we had to come back later. We still had the same feeling about it. The visuals are really well done. The best part of the attraction is the end part that reminds us a bit of Star Tours.

We headed to Smugglers Run and were a few minutes late for our return time but it was OK (I think there is a bit of a grace period). We both enjoyed this. Once we tapped in we booked Toy Story Mania.

We exited the park and took the skyliner and hopped over to Epcot

Scott wanted to try the crab cake slider from food and wine booth in America. He said it was too salty. He ate a few bites. I tried a bite and thought the same. This ended up in the trash.

In Germany Scott got the Bratwurst in Pretzel bread (no mustard) from the food & wine booth. He thought it was just OK but also a bit too salty. I agreed with his opinion.

1A60CE50-CB87-400F-A8ED-6C27DB73C390.jpeg

I wanted to try the Pretzel Bread Pudding. It’s not from one of the booths but the regular quick service counter in Germany. This was very good and we both enjoyed it. It’s not Tambu Lounge bread pudding good, but it’s good. We finished this.
2F90553C-4F61-4F28-B569-334A3A3F606E.jpeg

In China we tried the Passion Fruit Bubble Tea from the booth. This was just OK. We had a few sips but the boba balls were too big so it felt like you were eating/chewing more than drinking. After a few sips we tossed this.
8B034B3F-5DA0-465B-9FDC-8297A5A7C7F5.jpeg

After making a full loop around World Showcase we took the Skyliner back to Hollywood Studios since it was time to ride Mickey & Minnie’s runaway train.

Mickey’s & Minnie’s runaway train was temporarily down.

We went to the Alien Saucer ride in Toy Story Land. The standby wait was pretty quick.

We went back to Mickey & Minnie’s runaway train and got in the return lane (we were still in our Genie+ window) and figured we’d wait a bit and see if it comes back up. It opened up maybe 10 minutes later so we rode; it was probably about 6:30 or so. This is such a cute ride. We probably spent just as much time watching the family seated in front of us as the attraction itself. They were adorable with young children and the parents were so animated about each part of the ride. We were chatting with them when we exited and they said since the kids are still too small for the bigger rides they try to make the rides as exciting as they can.

We headed out of the park and went back to the resort to shower and change for the evening.

They have an appetizer menu at the bar so we ordered a few things for our dinner.

The California roll was just OK, it was a bit dry.

Saturday 10/1/22
Scott went to the gym at 5:30; I didn’t go until 6:15

Right before 7 we bought Genie+ for today, and at 7 booked Navi River for 9:35-10:35

At 8 (when Animal Kingdom opened) we bought an Individual Lightening Lane for Flight of Passage for Scott from 9:55-10:55. I can’t go on that ride.

Back in the villa our normal routine of laundry, jacuzzi, showers, and breakfast. We weren’t rushing and before we knew it, it was 9:30 and we were just leaving. I was able to change our Navi River to later in the day: 1:15-2:15.

We were in the park a little after 10 and stopped for some pictures.

Scott went on Flight of Passage using his ILL at 10:45. Normally if there is an attraction he’s going on without me, we’ll find a spot for me to wait then he’ll head to the ride. Since we were getting close to the end of the ILL window when we were near the entrance, he gave me his knapsack, and headed towards the ride entrance and I’ll find a place nearby to wait. I found a spot and realized I had his phone in his knapsack when it started ringing so I wouldn’t be able to text him to tell him where I am. A family was waiting near me and a man joined them. I asked if he was on FOP and which direction someone would exit from. This family was so nice - they waited with me, asked to see a picture of Scott and helped me find him when he came out. How sweet was that?

We headed to see the 11:30 Nemo show next. I know it was closed for a while when the show was revamped, but it didn’t seem too different to me. Maybe a few different scenes. We enjoyed the show but the benches here are very uncomfortable. Since it’s an indoor theater I don’t know whey they didn’t make it more like theater seating (like Muppets) other than with the benches you can squeeze more people in.

Scott went on the Expedition Everest using the single rider line and was back quickly.

At 12 I booked a Genie+ for Dinosaur which was valid 12:20-1:20
We tapped into Dinosaur about 12:25 and we booked the safari for 12:30

Dinosaur is such a fun attraction. We both enjoyed it.
529581B2-29D4-4562-ADA7-E133DB5D3E7B.jpeg

We played some of the carnival games. On the game where you throw colored balls and if it lands in a cup with a color you win a prize depending on the colored cup you land in, Scott won a small prize. You don’t compete against anyone else playing. He gave his small prize to a little girl who was also playing but not having any luck. She was so cute and was looking at him with such awe when he won his small prize. His parents were very appreciative.

I played this same game after and surprisingly won an extra large prize - a cute green dinosaur. I was so proud of myself since I don’t usually win anything on these types of games. My dinosaur was included in a few pictures too.

We headed to the Safari next and walked right on.

We almost forgot about about our Navi River but we were in the window to ride so headed there after the safari. This is a peaceful and nice ride, but I’m surprised it usually has such long waits.

We headed out of the park a little after 3, but stopped for another picture in front of the Tree on our way out.

Back at the resort we went to the pool. It was nice to swim, use the water slide, and just hang out a bit.

We were booking Genie+ attractions every two hours stacking rides for Magic Kingdom tonight.

Soon it was time to shower and change for the evening.

We drove to Animal Kingdom Lodge for our reservation at Jiko. We were intentionally early to have a drink at the bar. Scott had a Martini and I had a Jungle Punch.

For appetizers we shared the Wild Boar and the Pizza. I never had Boar before and was was surprised how much I liked it. We liked the little ball things but didn’t know what they were. The pizza was too spicy for me so Scott ate most of that.

Scott also ordered the Bobotie Mac & Cheese. I didn’t like this one but the plain Mac & cheese I enjoyed. Scott liked this fancy Mac & cheese.

E7FF8059-4DC0-43FA-BD52-93668EA5B266.jpeg

We had some leftovers despite sharing. We decided against ordering dessert here; we had something else in mind for dessert…I’m sure you can guess where we went next.

They gave us little guava (I think) gummies which were good. Scott ate his before I took the picture but there were two on the plate.

We headed over to Tambu Lounge and found seats at the bar.

We ordered our bread pudding to share - this is so good. Scott had coffee and I probably stuck to water.

We had a nice time hanging out there. We met a nice couple there and ended up chatting with them for a while.

Time flies when you are having fun and we decided against going to Magic Kingdom after Tambu Lounge and just headed back to the resort.

Sunday 10/2/22
Scott went to the gym at 5:30 and I went at 6:15
Just before 7 we bought Genie+ for the day and booked our first attraction - Big Thunder Mountain Railroad valid from 9:40 - 10:40
At 8 (when Magic Kingdom opened) we bought Individual Lightening Lane for Seven Dwarves Mine Train valid from 11:45-12:45

Back in the villa our normal morning routine of laundry, jacuzzi, showers, and breakfast. Scott was ready before me so he went to pick up Starbucks (at the regular Starbucks down the road, not at the Marketplace that sells Starbucks products, but not all of them). He also went to get the car washed.

When he returned we drove to Magic Kingdom, arriving just before 10.

We made our way to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad right near the end of our window to ride. Once we tapped in we booked Winnie the Pooh which was valid soon after from 10:55-11:55. We both enjoyed the ride, it’s a shame they don’t have a picture taken on it (maybe they do and we just missed it).

We walked into the Country Bear Jamboree as that was just starting; it’s cute and corny.

Scott likes to stop at the shooting gallery; this is now surprisingly free to use.

7CFB0314-873F-4448-B7B7-D19A1B1D6E59.jpeg

We went onto Winnie the Pooh. Scott’s favorite character is Tigger so I had him pose with a stuffed one in the gift shop at the ride exit.

234B8F2A-70A8-4697-B34B-39AEF51E92B2.jpeg

I booked Space Mountain for Scott valid from 12:15-1:15. I don’t ride that anymore either. More rides that I used to go on have bothered me lately so I’d rather not go on them.

We headed onto Seven Dwarves Mine Train. I like this more each time I ride it.

52973485-5F5A-4C76-A730-8BE7D32BC67B.jpeg

We went to TomorrowLand for Scott to ride Space Mountain. Once he tapped in, I booked the Ariel ride for both of us which was valid a few minutes later. As I was poking around in the Disney app, I saw Scott’s ride picture appear.

17601422-4CAB-44CF-8563-4CECDBC47C23.jpeg

I also saw Individual Lightening Lane available for Guardian’s of the Galaxy so got one for Scott from 3-4 so we’ll hop over to Epcot a little later.

We headed right over to Ariel and rode.

Scott’s been talking about wanting a hot dog. We mobile ordered him a foot long hot dog from Casey’s. That is one big hot dog. He said it was good. I liked the little clementines.

We’ve both lost weight recently and I don’t remember which night it was but Scott was pointing at something and his wedding band flew off his finger. Luckily he found it, but we were commenting that his finger lost weight too. He’s been afraid to wear it since that night not wanting to lose it.

Sunday 10/2/22 Continued
We left Magic Kingdom a little before 2 and drove over to Epcot.

We stopped for some of the Photopass pictures. I like that the one where we look like we’re little above the world has a picture so you know what you are posing for in the line. We did this one twice, I forgot why, but I thought something was off with one of them. We waited on line again for the second version.

Epcot is celebrating its 40th anniversary so we had this picture taken too. We didn’t know when we took it, it just showed up in the app, but I like it.

4E60F9E9-6686-4C81-83CF-F4C0748A100E.jpeg

We went in the Creations store. I was surprised the 40th anniversary Epcot merchandise wasn’t more exciting.

We realized we weren’t stacking rides but booked Soarin which was valid 5 minutes later so we headed over there to ride. Once we tapped in we were able to book Figment also valid maybe 5 minutes later. It’s great when it works out that way.

After Figment we were in the window for Scott to ride Guardians of the Galaxy so we headed that direction. We stopped for a few of the pictures outside. I may not ride but I’ll still get the cute pictures.

He is very impressed with the ride and really enjoyed it.

We headed out of Epcot

Sunday 10/2/22 Continued
We drove back to the resort and went to the pool. We enjoyed some time swimming, going on the water slide, and just hanging out.

We headed out and drove to the Caribbean Beach Resort. We had dinner reservations at Sebastian’s Bistro. This would be our first time trying this restaurant. We intentionally went a little early to have a drink before dinner.

We went to Banana Cabana for drinks. It’s a cute outside covered bar area.
94A866F4-7A6D-46F5-A29A-91F0444062BF.jpeg

I had the Banana Cabana drink and Scott had an Old Fashioned.
47E3E603-8C09-4836-B79B-34643AFA33EE.jpeg

Our drinks were good and we enjoyed hanging out and chatting with other people around us. Scott went to check in at Sebastian’s Bistro and to let them know we were at the bar; he probably went to check in around 7:45 for our 8:05 reservation.

There was a problem with the kitchen and they had to close the restaurant. They could have handled the communication a bit better. We only realized something was wrong when we saw some employees stopping to see other people in the bar and then they would leave. We were told all the reservations for tonight are being cancelled and we should try booking another one another day in the app.

We drove to the Dolphin, valet parked, and went to Shula’s. We sat at the bar.

C52C0A76-B492-4383-AB44-EB9F3B1777C4.jpeg

It was odd that I received a text that my table is ready at 8:45 when they told us they cancelled all the reservations.

Scott had Bourbon and I stuck with water since I had my drink at Banana Cabana. I’m a wimpy drinker and 1 is pretty much my limit.

We shared the crab cake appetizer. This was very good and filled with crab rather than a lot of filler. It came with avocado butter and a mustard remoulade.

The bread is great as always.

57577D8A-17E7-4C73-8598-C4C589191F11.jpeg

For our entree we shared the dry rub cowboy steak (special not on the menu) and the macaroni and cheese.

This steak is great; melts in your mouth. The macaroni and cheese is really good too. We didn’t finish our food and had some leftovers to bring back. We had to make sure we had room for dessert.

For dessert we shared the chocolate souffle - delicious.

While this wasn’t the dinner we were originally expecting it turned out great in the end. We were able to book dinner at Sebastian’s Bistro for tomorrow so I shuffled some other reservations around. It’s an early dinner but we’ll get to try it (fingers crossed there aren’t any kitchen issues tomorrow).

After dinner we headed back to the resort.

Scott went to the gym at 6. I didn’t go until about 6:45
Just before 7 we bought Genie+ and right at 7 made our first selection for Slinky Dog valid from 10:40-11:40

After the gym, back in the villa we did our normal morning routine of laundry, jacuzzi, showers, and breakfast.

We got to Hollywood Studios a little before 10

At 10:30 we booked Tower of Terror for 1:35-2:35 (the two hour rule since the park opened at 8:30)

We went to Slinky Dog - this is so cute and fun.

The park is crowded today

We stopped at Woody’s food area and bought two poptarts: the raspberry and the Halloween one. We wrapped them up and put them in a ziploc baggie we brought for this. We nibbled on them over the next few days. Both were good but I liked the raspberry one better than the Halloween one.

We walked right into Muppets. I know this is an older attraction but we always enjoy it. I appreciate that it’s comfortable sitting in here to enjoy the show.

Walking by Main Street (not sure if that’s the term Hollywood Studios uses for their entry street) we waited on line for one of the photographers. There was a family ahead of us and she had them posing in all sorts of cute ways. One of the poses she had them do was to act like they were cold. We really like all the magic shots. When it was our turn we asked about the magic shot she took where the family looked like they were cold. She told us No, that picture is only for families. Are we not a family? I was so shocked by her answer that I didn’t know what to say. We just took the regular picture she took and walked away. After we left I was kind of irritated by her response. Scott was the rationale one and while he didn’t appreciate her response/attitude said things like maybe she’s having a bad day, let’s forget about it and continue enjoying ourselves. It still irritated me but he was right, you can’t let little things upset you.

We were able to make a Genie+ selection for Star Tours which was valid in about 10 minutes so we headed over to ride. It’s great that they have various versions of the attraction

On our way by the lake we saw another photographer so stopped to take some pictures. This photographer was fantastic; she did a bunch of magic shots including the cold one with Olaf (which is adorable).

It was time for us to ride Tower of Terror but the ride was down. We waited a bit. We stopped and were sitting on a bench looking at the various wait times for different attractions. Scott said he would be back in a bit. I assumed he was going to the bathroom. Instead he thought he would be cute/funny/make me forget the annoying photographer from earlier and look what showed up on my phone while I was waiting for him to get back.

That was the cutest thing - I can’t believe he waited on a line for pictures by himself like that.

We headed out of the park and went to Disney Springs. We wandered a bit then went to Gideon’s. The standby was really fast. Within 20 minutes we had 12 more cookies.

4E22B77C-E409-4C2B-AC6A-E5653FABEB4F.jpeg

We headed back to the resort to put the cookies in the freezer.

We didn’t have much time and headed back out

We drove to Caribbean Beach Resort for our dinner reservation at Sebastian’s Bistro

We wandered around the resort a little
A6D57658-54AC-4964-9E34-331602EA62F4.jpeg

We stopped for a pre-dinner cocktail at the Banana Cabana bar. I had Hoist the Colors. This was OK, not as good as my drink from yesterday. Scott had beer and a shot of tequila. I forgot to get pictures of our drinks while at the bar, but they are in our table pictures once we were seated.

We got a text that the table was ready right at our reservation time. We were happy they were open with a working kitchen today. This is the first time we’re eating here. It’s a cute little place.

We ordered the coconut shrimp add on but the rest of the meal is family style

The waitress asked if we wanted more of anything so Scott asked for a little more chicken. We didn’t finish the rest of the meat.

Dessert was bread pudding. It’s not quite Tambu Lounge level, but it’s very good.

We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed Sebastian’s Bistro. It’s kind of a hidden gem; very inexpensive for decent food.

We originally planned to go to Magic Kingdom after dinner but ended up wandering around Caribbean Beach a bit more.

We changed our mind and headed back to the resort.

We finally watched the Top Gun: Maverick movie (the new one). It wasn’t as good as the original Top Gun but it was OK.

Tuesday 10/4/22
Scott went to the gym around 5:45; I went a little later probably 6:15

After our workouts our normal morning routine of laundry, jacuzzi, showers, and breakfast.

We’ve done so much already we wanted a day to just wander as we felt like it so didn’t buy Genie+ today.

We went to Epcot and arrived a bit before 10

I like this picture and think it’s great that the photographer has a picture so you know what picture you are waiting in line for.
