There are different types of Target Circle offers. The ones with a discount (get X off when you spend Y; like mine) typically exclude ALL gift cards. The ones where you get rewards (spend X, get Y in rewards) typically let you purchase most third-party gift cards (including Disney).

I think you mixed up circle bonus vs circle offer. We’ve been hitting Circle Bonuses. If it’s just a circle offer it will show under wallet, saved offers. If it was a Circle Bonus it would show a tracker.

And also since the rewards work as a coupon in the system, use them on items that would be taxed by your state. That results in you saving the amount of the reward + what tax you would’ve paid on that amount.
For instance if you have $10 in circle rewards and your tax is 10% you end up saving $11.
