Use Year question .....

We currently have an October UY.

Eventually, would like to add on ........ when we do, what is the best use year to buy -- we prefer to travel in late November/early December ... or sometimes January.

Under the rules that go into effect in 2008, you do not want to consistently plan to travel in the last three months before the end of your UY. This is because your options may be very limited if you cancel more than 30 days out but within 4 months of the end of your UY.

For your current travel plans, your Oct UY seems perfect! -- Suzanne

If you purchase from Disney, unless you buy enough points for a totally new contract, they will sell you your same use year.
