Vegas Hotels with no resort fee

Hi, Can anyone tell me which hotels on the strip dont charge resort fees?

Thankyou for any help :)

Resort Fees there can really stink because it's often $15 or $20.

I believe the Harrahs Entertainment company does not chare resort fees. Those would be a Harrah's, Bally's, Paris, Imperial Palace, Flamingo, Ceasar's Bill's Gambling Hall, Planet Hollywood and Rio(though off strip with a shuttle to the strip). I think I got all of those but may of missed some.

There might be some others but the other big company MGM-Mirage casinos all have resort fees.

Together they own most of the well known casinos.

The Caesars Entertainment/Harrahs properties may not charge resort fees, but be aware that all of the stuff a resort fee would cover is priced separately. For instance, if you stay at the MGM Grand, the 22.50 resort fee includes use of their fitness room, but at Caesars, access to the fitness room in their spa is $25. If you're not going to use any of the amenities a resort fee covers, then stay at a Harrah's property; but if you're the kind of person who uses internet access, the fitness room and the business center, then stay somewhere that a resort fee covers all of this stuff.

I haven't stayed there before as I have only been to vegas one other time.
I did take the time and look at reviews and regardless of how many stars the hotel has and the rate there always seems to be the same amount of negative reviews as there is positive.

We stayed off the strip at hilton last year and I am not picky, I just want clean room with clean bathroom. I am not picky about how soft the bed and pillows are so long as they are clean and the hilton was bad!

Bally's isn't a big place from what I read but it's connected to the Paris portion of the strip and right across the street from the Bellagio.

Think I am of the same mind as you - want a clean room with a clean bathroom:)
Bad news about the Hilton, would of expected better of them but it seems you never can tell these days!
We are looking to go next Oct/Nov if the price is right!!!

We have been to Vegas over 20 times & have stayed there more than anywhere else. Why? Huge rooms, perfect central location & great prices. The north tower rooms were renovated in the last 10 years; nothing fancy, but nicely done. South tower rooms are very very dated (but still well-kept & clean) but typically have terrific strip views.
Resort fees are a thorn for most of us--if I don't want internet/fitness center EVERY DAY then it is a waste. Let ME decide if I want to pay for these services.

Thanks very much for your input Kris - I totally agree with you - let me decide if I want these services!!!

Will def be checking Bally's out for the future!! :thumbsup2

So which Tower room do you favour North or South???

Given a choice, I would always choose North Tower. It is a nice room. But if you want a strip view, South is probably better BUT be prepared for very dated rooms--70s decor, I'd say. All rooms are largest standard non-suite room on the strip, and we have always found things very well maintained & clean.
