While considering the implications of the VMK kiosk being removed, I've been thinking of other places to meet, for players who still want to do that. But I may never have met them in person if it wasn't for the VMK Quests and VMK Central. It gave us a safe place to meet with a fun activity to do.
One largely unused spot with lots of seating is the area under the awning behind the turkey leg stand, at the very edge of Tomorrowland and close to Small World. (There is water on each side of it; I believe it's where the motorboats used to be long ago.)
What a great idea! No reason we can't make our own "in-park" VMK fun.So without VMK Central, I guess we will be needing to do some in-park "Cazalet's Quests".
Add me to the list of people who were there on Tuesday as well!BTW, add me to the list of those that were in the park (and at VMK central) on Tuesday. We should have had a meet! (and yes, the CM's were actually happy that the VMK booth was going away. They have taken much abuse at the hands of adult VMK players )
After reading about cast member reactions here, I asked a CM yesterday (yes, I went back!) if she was looking forward to it closing. Refreshingly, she said no; that she was actually going to miss it. I was glad to hear that at least some of them have enjoyed it. I can think of certain CMs in particular who have been real shining stars while working there.
