It is a "Martha's Vineyard" pattern, applique queen sized quilt my mother (now deceased) made me almost 50 years ago. Each grape is stuffed so it rises above the rest of the quilt. It is stuffed with cotton batten, not polyfill. There was some wear along the top, that my mother repaired but now a few of the grapes are showing signs of wear, not too badly, but the quilt is damaged. Should I see about getting it fixed or just toss it. I realize it is not a true antique. It doesn't have a lot of sentimental value for me today, but I'd hate to toss it if it was valuable.
