If you can afford it, do the VIP tour. Your studio tour is about double the length of the regular studio tour. You ride in your own personal VIP trolley. You stop at 4 spots: the Foley sound studio, the prop department, the city street set, and a TV or movie that is shooting. If you do the tour on a weekday, you will probably be able to talk to people working in the departments. I hear they love talking about their work and they are really interesting. Take the tour on a weekday since much more things happen during then. You also receive front of the line access to many of the rides and priority seating to many of the shows.
