Which resort for Christmas?

We currently have a two bedroom at Saratoga over Christmas for 3 nights. It is our home resort and we love it.

However, we are thinking about trying out a different resort for this short stay before our cruise. We are a group of 5 adults, so we don't need to worry about children's activities or pools.

We thought about Beach Club or Boardwalk, because we could walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios and avoid the crowded busing over the holiday period. We also thought about Wilderness Lodge, because I hear it has great Christmas decorations.

Ultimately, it will come down to what is available, but I am looking for suggestions for a wait list request.

TIA!

We stayed at VWL & VGF last year during Christmas time. Both were great. Depends on what you want to do & dining options. This year, we are doing BWV & BLT. You have to try VGF at least once and Christmas time is a great time & lower points in part of December. Probably easier to get in there now vs. when it sells out.

WL/VWL is the best-themed resort during Christmas, but it's also the most difficult to book at the 7-month point (though the new VGF might be a similar experience now). That being said, it can be done, especially if you're willing to do the waitlist. When we first bought our VWL points years ago, by the time we closed we were within the 7-month window so had to do the waitlist. It took four months, but we eventually got all the days we wanted. You might not have the same good fortune, but it's worth a try.

I would suggest BWV or BCV for the reasons you mentioned. You can walk to two parks. The Candlelight Processional is another reason for an Epcot resort. It's so nice to have dinner, attend the Processional, watch Illuminations and walk home. You can also enjoy the entertainment on the boardwalk before heading to hitting the Atlantic Dance Hall or Jellyrolls. Lots of activities for adults at the boardwalk.

AKL or VWL are both beautiful at Christmastime. VGF is as well, but probably next to impossible to get into at Christmastime unless you own there.
