Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone knows from experience, which if any of the dvc studio sofabeds can comfortably sleep a 6 foot 18 year old?

BCV, BWV, VWL. Not OKW, SSR, BLT. The more uncomfortable ones are the platform style with the three section foam pad for a mattress. The more comfortable ones flip from the back and the cushions stay attached.

My son has slept on most of them. And I've slept on the older ones that were replaced.

Thank you for letting me know!

Wow! I am surprised that the newer resorts don't have the most comfortable sofabeds. You would think that they would have worked a little harder to make sure all the guests staying in the studio would feel the benefits of being a DVC member.

I agree with the BLT sleeper bed not being comfortable. We unfolded it to test it, and I'm a 5'4" girl, for reference. It was a very hard mattress, probably suited for children, tbh.

Ditto on the ones that flip from the back. They are the most comfortable. I wish the Disney buyers would see this post and only buy the flip from the back sofa sleepers!!!!

I'm glad to know this information because I want to rent points for BCV or BWV soon.

Remember: OKW studios have two queens, rather than a queen and a double sofabed. I'd look there first.

Well, I'm going to hurt your head!!!:rotfl2:

I've slept on pretty well all of them too.

I HATE BCV's. I have bruises from it. The bars are brutal. I have never slept on something so uncomfortable. And I sleep head away from couch because it slants.

Hand's down back around my favourite is BLT. Heavenly.

Interesting, eh? Exact opposite. (And I'm tall 5'10")

Please don't Disney buyers!!! :rotfl2: HATE them. Love the newer models.

IME our 1 bedroom at AKV Jambo had a real mattress. It unfolded like the rest but it was one mattress. Same with the 1 bedrooms BCV we have been in.

Over New Years we were in SSR (Paddock) and it was the weird 3 piece cushion thing. Super uncomfortable. I was surprised the kids did not complain.

with only 1 DVC stay for our experience, I can only speak of BWV...My daughter stayed on this pull out WHich I stayed on 1 night & thought it was VERY comfortable...Not to mention that I'm 6'2" & 225 lbs tooo. So if it was good enuff for me it should be fine for him...

Also my son age 9 maybe 60 lbs also had his only lil bed...It's that sitting chair thingy next to the TV, that is roughly 5 ft long, & maybe 3 ft wide...

My daughter prefers the sofa bed at BLT... my son loves the ones at SSR! he swears by the 3 cushion types.
