Why do we need the V in the acronym of any resorts. What is wrong with BC, BW, WL, SSR, OKW and now AK. We all know they are resorts and resort villas.

You need the "V" to distinguish the villas from the hotel. If someone posts (either here or on the Resorts board) that they are staying at the BC and ask for suggestions on a good view, how would you know whether they meant the hotel or the villas?
