I'm hoping to be getting ready to eat some BBQ by the island music stand

But then I might go over to Serenity Bay (spelling? - too lazy to look up the correct spelling) to get a T-Bone for lunch

I would like to feed the sting rays but can't get in the water yet and get wet with dirty water, due to surgery back in November - still healing and have open wound

Jet skiing sounds like fun. One thing I would never go on is the Banana Boats. I don't feel like trying to break my neck - too rough for me

T-bone sounds good to me too. :thumbsup2 We always wanted to try jet skis. We also have a couple spa treatment, that's another thing we would never do, so we thought we would give it a try on this trip...

I just got bad news on our pirate stuff. It's not scheduled to arrive until Monday. I just emailed them to order a duplicate order and have it sent express mail over night.:sad2:

We just plan to relax at the beach with floats and stuff. We can't do much with the baby. DH really wants to see the Flying Dutchmen from Pirates. Though I do like the idea of sneaking away from the kids to get a T-Bone at Serenity Bay.

Who is ready to go crusin'???????????????

me me me me

I am torn between taking my Cocker to the Vets for the 5 nights or taking her to my DD's house - my DD has 4 dogs and 3 cats and I'm not sure she can handle my Shelby.

Decisions - decisions

Wish Disney would start a dog sitting service onboard, somehow, and I wouldn't have this problem :confused3

We are taking our border collie to the vets tomorrow. She has a hair appt on tues, so she might as well stay..:dog2: My cat is staying home alone though. I'm going to poor a sack of cat food in a 8x11 pan and leave the toilet lids open (I know gross, but she always prefers toilet water over her water dish :cat: ) Our kitty gets so upset when we are away, she hardly touches her food, but in-case she surprises us she'll have enough to eat..just hope we don't come back to a bunch of kitty vomit on the carpet.:scared:

Our neighbors are watching our cats for us. We'll be gone over a week, I know they're going to be mad at us when we get back. I hope they don't leave any presents to punish us. The cats, not the neighbors. We trade off watching each others homes.

We plan on the Nassau historical city tour & shopping on Monday (10am), Banana boat ride , Snorkeling @ the Catamaran cruise all on Tues. Wed, I think is my couples massage . Is there anything that is a must to do that I haven't listed? Para-sailing was full at CC, but maybe we can do that in Nassau instead.

I completed my on-line check in so we are ready to go! How about you?

We're going to check out the Straw Market and the Pirate Museum on our own in Nassau. We're just renting floats at CC. None of the excursions seem to be good for a 1 year old, other than the Atlantis. But we did that last time we went and we don't want to be tempted to visit the highly expensive casino.

We did our on-line check in and have all our important papers in a bag to carry on the ship.

Ok, for us, the two Samoyed's (Kirby and Chantel) are going to be watching the three kids (Amy, RJ, and Brittney). ;)

Luckily I have nosie neighbors. :)

We are going it on our own in Nassau, and we too plan on doing the straw market, and pirate museum, but I think being our first time we should go visit the Atlantis, but that remains to be seen. I thought it would be a really good time to check out some of the ship too. CC we will be doing the Jet Ski Eco Tour at 10:30, then just relaxing the rest of the day. Wednesday we have the couples massage too at 10:45.

Bummer, next week at this time we will be coming to the end of what I hope will be a wonderful time!

We have a couples massage on Wednesday morning too! I can't remember if it was at 10:30 or that's the time we take the baby to Flounder's. Luckily, the ship will tell me where I need to be and when through the Navigator and other nice notes left in our room.

Ok my soon to be shipmates. Is it normal for a first timer to feel a bit overwhelmed at this juncture? It seemed like so long to go, and now it's down to two days before I leave, and there is so much to do! In the middle of all this, I am graduating from college Friday night, then I get up Saturday morning and go to the airport. I feel like I am not going to make it.

I have graduation practice tomorrow afternoon, then my youngest DD play tomorrow night, then school Friday morning, leaving at 1:30 to change for my graduation which I have to be at for 3:30, graduate at 5 to who knows, then it's home do some last minute packing, hit the bank in the morning, airport by 11:30, flight leaves at 12:55, SSR and then what? <sigh> I hope it don't take too long to unwind.

Congratulations! :cool1: I think I know how you are feeling. I just took my last finals and graduated today with a Degree in Nursing. I am in the middle of packing and trying to come down from my emotional roller coaster of not knowing if I was going to pass all my classes or not (i did! :yay: ). My flight takes off at 11am, so I'm pretty frazzled trying to get everything done at the moment too.

If I can make it you will too! Just think we can relax very very soon! :beach:

This is my 2nd time on a Disney cruise and I'm feeling overwhelmed, so it's definitely normal for your first time. DD has just 2 more days of school, then we both have our recital Saturday night that we've been practicing like crazy for. At least planning for the cruise has kept me from stressing about being on stage.

Congrats on graduating! I think you'll be able to unwind the minute you hit your room at SSR. Especially if you grab a fruity drink first (or beer if that's your preference.)

Oh yeah, a nice frozen Pina Coloda will settle me right down. :cool1:

Hey, CONGRATS Tonya!:woohoo: You done good...me, well I have been in college a total of 15 years, but only managed to finish my AA in Education/Special Education. Although I am going right on to Providence College to complete my Bachelors in Ed, even though I have been teaching for 7 years, I want to make it legit so to speak...

Boy looks like we got lots to celebrate on board.:dance3:

Scrappy910 Hope you have a great time on your cruise - wish I was going too!!! Hey, are you up to riding the Banana Boat again :rotfl2:

Can't wait to hear how much princess: Sarah & pirate: Christopher love the Mickey Boat!!!!

Don't forget to tell Marc, Adam, Kira & Kirsten we said HI!

Have fun and enjoy your cruise!

Hey #1Mouse,

Joe was just saying earlier this week it was going to seem strange not having John and Gail along on this cruise. You still got time to get down here if you want to go. Sarah and Christopher have already been given their cruise rules - HAVE FUN, no crying, no running and no talking loud (this one is for Christopher and will do no good to tell him that). Sarah is bringing her princess dresses to wear at dinner - if we can get her out of the kids club. She is already planning on a pizza party with Goofy. Hope they have that on the 4 day cruises or I could be in big trouble.

I don't see a banana boat ride in my future. I am still traumatized from the last one. Will probably do bikes and don't know what else.

Hopefully Marc, Adam, Kira and Kirsten will all be on board. Don't know if they will remember me since I haven't seen them since September. But will check in with them. Gotta look for Anna also, and then there is Marlon. And don't forget Hollywood oh yeah it is Clayton now right? We are all VERY excited to be going. I think Sarah is more excited about the Mickey boat than graduating from Kindergarden tomorrow.

Get those suitcases packed and come and join us.

Carol

I know about the stress! DD6's last day of school tomorrow, last soccer game, yesterday, ballet recital practice, tomorrow...oh...and lets see, we're moving the 31st and there's a pod sitting in my driveway, boxes all over my house, new luggage trying to get packed (brother took of with my luggage to Nashville and didn't tell me--additional expense), and for some reason, I decided it would be a good time to do an online college class. I've got my bachelors but want to teach middle school science and needed one more class. So, on top of this, I just finished 2 lots of homework and have to go home and take 2 quizzes, then work on packing...oh...and then there's work tomorrow with 10 closings! GAH!!!!! Only 2 more days, only 2 more days...

Sounds like a lot of us are so ready for this cruise if for no other reason but to rest. I have decided if I don't get off the ship or for that matter don't get off the comfy chairs on deck 4 for the entire 4 days it will be fine with me. I may need to bring another book????

It's getting close now.

Oh my gosh, it is raining. And raining hard. This is so great. We are in between several of the fires and today there was so much smoke in the air it was horrible. Come on rain. (Of course, I hope its not raining on the cruise, but it could rain at my house the whole time we are gone)

See you all soon.

Carol

I couldn't agree more. Our grass is all dry and brown. I'd love to have it rain the whole time we're gone.

Not sure who will be seeing this post - we are late late latecomers - booked the CM fill-the-boat rate on Monday - first time cruise for our family and we are soooooooo excited!

It will be me, DH, DS (7) and DD (almost 4).

You think you guys have stress?!!!! Try planning and packing in only a week! AND they never sent us our docs or luggage tags. :( We did docs online and we will pick up luggage tags somewhere. (I just wanted to receive "the package" KWIM???)

Anywho - it's Friday - DS's last day of school - and then we have to pack! Wish us luck. Once on the cruise, I'll be staring at people intently to see if they match any of your descriptions! LOL!

:)
