I'm just venting a little here, but why do people feel the need to suggest you take someone along with you, when they find out you're going solo? I'm traveling down in mid october (19th-24th). My brother and his family are going to be there the first two days, then they are off on the cruise. I'm meeting them there and then mentioned that I'm staying an extra few days.
"Oh, are you going down with someone?"
"No, just going to hang out for a bit, enjoy the parks."
"Oh - you should take your (insert family member here) with you, they'd love to go."
I guess they just don't get it or understand. Honestly, would I rather travel down with a special woman in my life? Absolutely! However, seeing as how that' ain't workin' out so well these days...
I probably just won't mention it again the next time I head down solo.
