Your Experience Buying Annual Passes For DL

We are going back for our third trip to DL but will be the first time we buy annual passes as we are planning on going back within a year so it will be worth it.

For those who have bought AP online (if there is anyone?) how did you recieve the paperwork? did they just email you a voucher?
If you got a voucher how long was the expiry on it?

We are thinking of buying them in July for our November/December trip but wanted to make sure that the voucher did not expire. Also to make sure that the AP doesnt start the date you purchase them but the date you enter the park.

HI, I have purchased AP at the gate not online they arnt any cheaper buying online so it wasnt worth it to go through the hassle of having to print them out and worry about where they were.
But being from out of town we had no problems purchasing them.

We bought annual passes 2 weeks ago, we have had them before. You get a print out at the time of purchase if you do it online, they send you an email. You take the print out to the entrance gate, they scan it and let you into DL, then you go to wherever the current location for annual passes is and they take your photo and give you the annual pass. Just ask at the gates where to go. The annual pass countdown begins the day of first use. We are not going until September but have bought them already. It isn't any cheaper to buy them in advance but we like to for 2 reasons. 1. it makes the holiday seem closer and 2. that way we pay for them now so it doesn't seem to be comming out of our holiday budget.

Just one thing to note though, whilst it is not any cheaper to buy them online, the AP prices increase every year in about July or August. Last year some of them went up by about $20 or $30. So you might be better off to get them before the price rise
