Tig - Doesn't it seem like yesterday? I can't believe my Dad will be gone six years in May, and my Mom eleven! Sometimes it just hits you right in the stomach.

Regarding the calories in alcohol - nah, just a myth! There are no calories in alcohol, and if you drink it thru the spinach straw it is actually negative calories!

LOL about the calories! :rotfl:

And yep about hitting right in the stomach.

Hiway, what did you have to do at the dr?

My computer is only two months old and I've been having problems with my internet explorer. I called Dell and they gave me another browser (firefox) which freaked me out because I lost all my bookmarks. I reinstalled my Yahoo toolbar and got them back, thank goodness. Do you think MSN is causing the problems?

Is it weird that I just unpacked 2 HUGE boxes full of Gymboree clothes and (as I unwrapped each outfit) planned what day of the trip each kid would wear them? :confused3

I am freaking out about what ds is going to wear at the dinners on the cruise. Dd has dresses and skirts. I don't want to go out and buy dress slacks for ds. I will buy one pair at least and then something else for formal night, but I think the dress shirts and shorts I got him from Gymbo should suffice...of course that is not what the guide books say.

What will I be wearing on the cruise you ask? Did I mention the scale? I got cute dresses from anthropologie, but they won't zip over the 'chest' area. Oh, and I have a wedding to go to on Sat. :guilty:

I thank God everyday for my geeky, computer fixin' DH! :rotfl: Our computer now works (even if I don't like Vista)...and we have our own cute little file-server network! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: :teeth:

Tig...just regular bloodwork to check the thyroid stuff and yearly exam stuff. Nothing to worry about:hug:

Ugh....this cold has me run down. I feel badly for making fun of DH now since he had what I've got now.

 Tig

My husbaned installed a different MSN...he put live on my laptop. It works like a dream now. No more getting booted every five minutes.

I'm pretty sure that it's my computer that is at fault, but I'm going to try and look into the problem more to make sure. Don't know why it's acting up and I need to reinstall MSN whenever my computer is restarted, though. Driving me nuts, which of course is easy to do. :rotfl:

Glad it was just a routine appt, Hiway.

Lara, sorry you're not feeling well!

I have Vista and I'm having trouble adjusting to all the different tool bars. Excel looks so different to me.

good luck with the blood tests!

Bomb, he will be FINE in the dress shorts. Don't listen to the Guide Book in that case. I have seen all manners of dress and the dress shorts is on the high end. ;) I hate the DCL Fashion Police. I wear what I want and you all do not need to look at me and report!!!!! Oh umm sorry, that is just a pet peeve of mine. I could give a rat's *** about what others are wearing. JUST BRING ME MY WINE AND FOOD!

Our computer guy insists we use Moxilla Firefox at our office. Says it is so much better than Explorer. :confused3

I love you, man.:flower3:

OK, off to do more unpacking and stuff.
I hope to get a wireless router in the next couple of days so I can have my laptop working here.
I hate to spend the money, though.:headache:

Most of our computers in the house have Firefox, but I hate it. I don't like the tabs and I don't like it when I open up a new page by hitting "control and N" that it opens up a new home page and not the page I'm currently viewing. That really bugged me and I couldn't figure out a setting that I could change (maybe there is one, but I couldn't find it).

Yeah, I am ignoring the Firefox browser and went back to my Internet Explorer. I was so mad when he deleted my cookies and I had to sit and remember all my passwords for every website i use.

FOR BOMB:

This one bears repeating. Welcome back. :dance3:

Probably the wrong morning for me to read this...as I was writing a check this morning I realized it's April 11th. My dad died 19 years ago today. :sad1:

I made myself ride the elliptical...not for long, only 10 minutes, but it was 10 minutes that I didn't want to exercise and I set the resistance pretty high.

Can one really say that he or she rides an elliptical??!!??!! ;) :rotfl2:

You know what? After much self reflection, I have concluded that I know absolutely nothing of any importance.

However, I know plenty enough to get me into trouble with you all.

ERGO.........I should quit my job and travel from PMS house to PMS house just bumming off all of you and getting into trouble.
