I have read on the thread where others are already booking airline reservations....have you all done this yet? I though it was kinda early in the game for that, but maybe not. Whatcha think?
I always don't book airfare until after I fully pay for the cruise because I'd hate to be stuck with airline tickets if I'm not able to pay for the cruise by the deadline for whatever reason.

Scorpions just, I don't know, they scare me!

Makes me think of when I was 12....my mom and I had moved into a new apartment complex in an area of Riverside that was being newly developed. My mom worked two jobs so I was home some evenings by myself. Well, one evening I was on the floor doing my homework in front of the TV and I see this opaque-whitish UGLY looking object coming towards me....it was a scorpion!!:scared1: :scared: At first I didn't know what it was because all the scorpions I'd even seen were black. I quickly ran and got a jar and put it over it and waited for my mom to handle it. I was terrified...it was so ugly. Another time there was a three inch centipede headed towards me. It didn't take me long to learn to wear shoes and not sit on the ground. Awful! :sad2:

That's normally my thought process but in this case, it'll take an act of God to stop us from going on this cruise!!! I figure, with the airline tickets already bought, now we have no choice but to go!!! :thumbsup2

 :scared: :scared1: :faint: :crazy2: I can't imagine living in an area with such scary little beasties! I'd never survive because I prefer sitting on the floor....always have for some reason. And I have a HUGE bug phobia, so anything larger than a bug or spider would freak me out!

I would have waited too, but, I am with Lisa that it would take something really big to stop us from going AND we wanted to use miles for the tickets and if you don't book those as soon as possible, you can't use them.

Had lunch with Tyler today. When I got there, the kids were already in the lunch room eating. I wandered around until I found the lunch room, then it was easy to spot his class. Just looked for the littlest kids! ;) You should have seen the smile on his face when he saw me! He just couldn't believe I was there and wouldn't take his hand off me. Was holding my hand the whole time or had his hand on my knee or on my back or around my arm. Very cute! You'd think he hadn't seen me in a week instead of just 3 1/4 hours! :rotfl: After lunch when he had to head to his classroom, he wouldn't let go of me, so I had had to line up with him and the other kids outside the classroom, wait for the teacher to greet each child, wait for them to sing their good afternoon, song, and THEN Tyler reluctantly let me leave. :rotfl2:

Off to take another nap for an hour, then have to do some running around before picking him back up from school. Headed somewhere fun after school but don't know where yet. Most likely a park because it's such a sunny day. Supposed to be in the 70s this afternoon. Beautiful!

Have a great day everybody!

Your Monday sounds so much better than mine!!!!! I should have called in sick:lmao: Got to work this am and have had 2 "no shows" so far...what a waste of an hour! let's hope the rest of the day picks up.....

I remember when I would go in with and eat with Jaide all the kids would want to sit by me...there were a few times I had to ask some of the other kids to shift down a bit so I could sit next to Jaide:lmao: You ever want to feel really popular, go eat lunch with elementary school kids!!!:lmao: :lmao:

It's interesting because I've never seen anything like those two again. Mostly where we live now I see flies, spiders, and ants, which is good, because that's about all I can handle without acting like I'm 5! I prefer sitting on the floor too, so I'm glad to not see creatures like those again! EEK!

It's 1:20pm....the visiting nurse just left and the legs are rewrapped again. V should be done with her interview by now....and I'm sure it went well....looking for her to tell us all about it. Noel's procedure just started.....quick and easy Noel.....sending you all good vibes.....hope to hear back from you soon that it all went well.:thumbsup2 :goodvibes :thumbsup2

The 1st week of Oct Airtran releases the May flights. I have enough points to fly all of us home from La.and 3 of us down to Fl so I will be making my ressies then.

I went ahead and purchased my flight back from LA. Checked the price today and it's already gone up $50.00. I thought about waiting too, but it went up about $50.00 when I was just looking, and I was afraid of how high it would go. I knew I wouldn't be doing Southwest or Jet Blue, and have cruise almost completely paid off, so figured I'd bite the bullet with the flights. Now all I need to plan for/worry about are my excursions and Palo ressies.

Palo ressies!!! I'm getting up at 5am tomorrow to try to get Palo brunch ressies for our Dec cruise!

Oh Deb. I can't imagine what it is like, and you seem to have been suffering with your legs for a long time now. Keep on keeping positive.

This has been ongoing since the 4th of July....over two months now....that's why I'm getting so tired of it. I want it to be over and yet, even though they're better somewhat....they still have a long way to go....they are far from back to normal.

It will be good to see the Dr. though.

Every Wed afternoon I see the Dr....on Mon and Fri the visiting nurse comes to the house....and they give me weekends off. Yahoooooo! I hope they start the hydrotherapy treatment this week. We'll see when I go back to the Dr. on Wed.
:rolleyes1 :confused3 :rolleyes1

Well, we were supposed to have the outside of our house painted this week...woke up today to rain and 50's :sad2: I am ready for a few more short and t's days though, not quite ready for the wood stove to start burning all the time. :sad2: I just hope winter can hold off long enough for the house to get painted!

What color will you paint it Kaylee? Such a beautiful house, it will look so nice with a fresh coat of paint.

:yay: :cool2: :yay:

I HATE bugs....I remember an incident when I was 3 years old and still can recall it clearly to this day...I was outside playing in the dirt at my grandmother's house. I didn't realize it but I was sitting on an anthill. When I looked up I had ants crawling all over me....in my hair, in my ears, under my clothes and I screamed like I was being killed. My grandmother ran outside so fast with a huge pot of hot water and dumped it on my head. The ants all fell off. Thanks to granny for saving the day. I never got over my fear of anything that crawls. It spooks me.:scared1:
:scared: :scared1:

You should be able to get them with a 4 night cruise. Are you booking any excursions? You'll be going to Nassau and CC I presume.:cutie: ;) :cutie:

It's 2pm and I'm freezing...it must be cold outside because I'm freezing in the house. I refuse to put the heat on in Sept....it's way too early. So I'm sitting here with my fleece jacket and a blanket trying to keep warm.:goodvibes :confused3 :goodvibes

We're on a bit of a budget - well part of persuading John to do this extra cruise was that we wouldn't spend any extra!! So, not booking any excursions which doesn't bother me too much. We will probably get off the boat at Nassau and may do the organised Mousefest walk around the historic sites - just a couple of hours so not bad. Then get back on board and relax. Weather permitting we will enjoy Castaway Cay, and then the sea day. I need to give John this relaxation time as I will be running him ragged around WDW before and after it!:rotfl2:
