Online ADR's possibly working

Tried 4420822215, no luck. Did accept the number but still wont pull my reservation. Thanks anyway.
Same for me, although my home phone does the same thing, so looks like either number is valid, just won't retrieve.
Have we got to the bottom of why this is yet?

This was my second response....I've forwarded this onto Disney USA as in the email - but I think I will gte anywhere...I'm mkaing my ADRS next week

Many thanks

Hi
For all of you that now have your US ressie number, did you get it through DIS UK? Has anyone been able to get their US ressie number from Virgin?

Thanks

very cross with this response from Disney today

My Email sent 17/06;

Hello, I would like to know the correct details for my flight inclusive
holiday so that I can make use of the online ADRs feature. My booking
number is 7****/S09 however when I set up our Honeymoon Registry I was
given the number 38********71 and told to use the phone number
000-000-0000 but this is not recognized anywhere else in your online
system.
Please advise of the correct information as soon as possible to enable
me to make my ADRs online as this would save me an international call
charge and also mean that I do not need to take a day off work!
Many thanks
Angela

Response Today 25/6

Dear Angela,

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World Resort.
Your reservation was reserved through a travel agency and as such cannot
be altered or accessed except by a member of that agency. Although the
reservation is for your party, the agency is legally the reservation
holder on your behalf.
To modify, cancel or confirm the reservation it will be necessary to
contact the agent or agency through which it was booked and have them
contact us.
If you have questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact
us.
Please include your full name, E-Mail address, and reservation number if
applicable on all correspondence.

Sincerely,

Gail Williams

I already phoned Disney UK (the agent!) and asked for the res info and they just said only US customers could use the online ADRs. I have now made my ADRs over the phone - they accepted my US conf - but I think it really stinks that so many people are unable to have a fair chance with the ADRs.

So do I, especially when the "agent" is Disney UK! Email them back and vent!

If the US system doesn't recognise UK reservations, I can really see there being problems with the on-line check-in too.

Personally, I don't think Disney should have released the new system until they ironed out problems like this so everyone is on a level playing field.

Hi

I got exactly the same response, word for word, despite asking three related questions regarding on-line ADR's which have nothing to do with "modifying, cancelling or confirming" a hotel reservation. i.e. ignored what was actually asked in favour of what looks like a standard and wholly irrelevant stock answer.

So its back to the phone ...

Cheers

"Customer service" - they should change that title... :headache:

Correct me if I'm wrong... we could still use the online facility to book ADR's from here, the issue is that we can't link these to a resort stay, and therefore take advantage of the 90 days + 10? (So we could book one each day, take a note of the confirmation numbers and just do it that way perhaps?)

Hopefully this will have been sorted out by January when I make mine! Would still be tempted just to make one each day online though, rather than call the States...

I'm going to ring up to make mine, and not be too fussed about getting the exact times I want, then have a proper look online for better times and days and swap them.

Doubt they'll have this fixed in two weeks when I have to make mine!

Be aware i tried to book online twice and entered my cc details only for the error in processing to come up.
I have checked my online cc statement and have been charged twice :scared1: ....

I would give your bank/card company a call and explain the situation so they can take steps to reverse the transactions, I reckon they will be able to sort it more quickly than Disney. From reading this thread I don't think E-mail communication is Disney's strongest point..

I had 2 overcharged transactions this month, 1 with Manny's they overcharged me $10 on a meal and one with the hotel, charged my CC even though we had prepaid in UK. Rang PO CC and they said I had to get in touch with the companies myself, they will only get involved as a last resort, 1st time this has ever happened to me so wasn't sure if that was normal or not.
Got in touch with Manny replied within minutes appologizing about the error. I sent him link to my mini review of the meal and he has said the next meal is on him if I get chance to call in August. Hotel have eventually said sorry and 2 days ago said they have refunded the money, just checked now, still not showing online.
With Disney as you say email is not the best option with them, I would ring them or try your CC and see what they say.

Glad to hear your transactions got sorted out :thumbsup2 I thought I had a fraudulent transaction in the UK once and when I rang Capital One I was told the same as you, to get in touch with the company concerned first (turned out it was my mistake anyway so no problem after all! :rolleyes1). I thought with it being a US company the bank/cc company might be more willing to step in but apparently not. Hopefully Disney are aware of the problem (i've read of similar problems elsewhere with using credit cards on the online system, don't think i'd risk it for the moment..) and are taking steps to sort it.

Has anyone been able to see there reservations? It just tells me

My Disney Vacation - Error
Sorry, we are not able to display your reservation at this time. Please try again later

and has been doing that since Wednesday. I managed to get to some dining reservations I made by phone only by removing the last 2 numbers of my phone number but nothing works on the reservation.

Anyone had any luck yet? I am making my reservations day by day which is a pain, but got better times than over the phone. Example I was told there was only a 9.50 reservation for crystal palace on 24th september but managed to get an 8.15 one online.
