I wonder if Remy will be there again. We had an ADR there last trip but I wasn't feeling well, so we cancelled.

We will go this trip. I can't wait to make mine! lol

The Profiteroles in France look awesome. But so many things sound tasty on the menu, no idea what I will eat.

If you didn't read what I wrote there, you can TOTALLY book it 180 days out! I was like a week late when I realized and was SO SHOCKED that I got it for the 3rd. Keep me posted if you get it or not!

Yep--you can book 180 out, but for some reason all the days EXCEPT July 4th are in the system. The Poly IPO assures us that it will become available any day now, and they can get it when it becomes available. I have no idea why it's not in the system, but I trust them. We have been trying daily since 180 days out.

Yep--you can book 180 out, but for some reason all the days EXCEPT JJuly 4th are in the system. The Poly IPO assures us that it will become available any day now, and they can get it when it becomes available. I have no idea why it's not in the system, but I trust them.

Oh ok phew! I thought you thought it was 90. Why would they not put the 4th in the system?! That doesn't make any sense. Have you been calling every day? I'd be obsessing over it if I was you!

It doesn't make sense to me, either. Dh has called and the IPO has called and they assure us we are ok and should have no troubles getting it so we're waiting.....not necessarily patiently, though!

I wish I had pics from our last July 4th trip in 2008 - I think that was the year our camera was not working well and I have hardly any.

From what I remember, it was not as bad as I thought it would be. I have seen Spring Break a LOT worse (2004 and especially 2009). Of course, when you experience crowds that are horrible, it makes summer look empty in comparison.

I like your ADR choices too! Maybe Grand Floridian Cafe instead of Tony's? You can just use the monorail or boat that way. I think the restaurant has kind of the same feel as Tony's. Hey! Thanks for the encouragement!! Yes, I forgot to mention that I DID cancel Tony's! NOT going anywhere near the inside of the MK now that we have the Wishes cruise and I don't have to! We are actually thinking about doing Paradiso 37 that night. I looked at the choices at the MK resorts and nothing really appeals to us that much. I thought that would be a good day to take it easy, have an early dinner in DTD, then head on over for our cruise! I'm waiting to hear from my cousin to see if she and her son can join us for the cruise. If they do, we'll do T-Rex that night and switch our T-Rex day for Paradiso.

Definitely recommend Paradiso 37 Nikki! .. they do a drink called 'Mangled Margerita'... in a twisted glass, looked fun! we had white sangria.. and the menu is amazing... it was so hard to choose! If you sit outside on the terrace you can see the Flight in Wonder balloon going up and down

I swear, I'm not stealing all your ADRs! Although you were the inspiration for Kouzzina and Donald's Breakfast, but I've wanted to try Paradiso since it opened!

That margarita sounds perfect for me! Hopefully, I can convince Tom to want to sit outside. I am like a freak in my ability to not only deal wiht, but enjoy the heat. So hopefully it won't be too hot outside so Tom will agree to it!

So here's my ADR problem. See if you can stick with me because DH just can not follow when I get into these complicated WDW situations!

The original plan was to do T-Rex for the 2nd and Tony's for the 3rd. Since we got the Wishes cruise for the 3rd, we do NOT want to go to the MK at all so Tony's is out and we decided on Paradiso 37. So that seems simple enough, right? T-Rex the 2nd, Paradiso the 3rd.

Well, my cousin and her 10 year old son might join us for the Wishes cruise and if they do, I would switch for T-Rex that night but I don't know if they are coming or not. She is a police officer in Miami and apparently she's pretty busy in July.

So I was just going to make my ADRs as if they weren't coming....well, I went online today and Paradiso doesn't accept ADRs!! Ugh. Then I thought I'd make an ADR for 4 at T-Rex just in case they do come on the 3rd and all I could get was 4:00!! So that makes me nervous that we might not even get into Paradiso if we tried on the 3rd and because we HAVE to be at the Contemp. at 8:00 for our cruise, we do not have time to wait around for a table.

SOoooo...I decided to cancel our T-Rex ADR for the 2nd and make an ADR for 2 on the 3rd. That way, we can try for Paradiso on the 2nd and if we have to wait, it's no big deal. As of right now, I have two ADRs for T-Rex on the 3rd, one for 4 people at 4:00 and one for 2 people at 4:00. (Can you believe I couldn't get anything later! At least we can just hang around DTD until it's time to go to the Contemp.)

I promise I will cancel one of them once I know if my cousin will be joining us! Do you think they will automatically cancel them because I can't have two ADRs at the same time??

Does that all make sense?

Don't worry, we are not sailing without you!!! I just know we ALWAYS get stuck with the bus that stops everywhere when we are leaving DTD, and that is after we just miss the bus going to our resort at the bus stop....

Ok...here's what I did. Thanks Wendy! I cancelled the ADR for 4 just in case they cancel them both because I have 2 ADRs at the same time. The I REBOOKED it using a my maiden name, and a different e-mail and phone number.

I know it sounds shady, but I promise I will cancel one of the ADRs as soon as I know which one I need!
