Any pics yet of Dream aft balconies?

We were in 9674 on the Dream Maiden Voyage.

Usually I'm very aware of the motion of the ship, even with Bonine. Not a problem AT ALL on the Dream, even in the aft cabin. I felt great the whole time. I still took my Bonine, but didn't feel any motion. Just some vibration when we came into Port Canavaral.

Enjoy!

Perfect!! Thank you so much :flower3:

Agree with Lin....not much "sway" in the aft, but there is vibration from the thrusters when you're docking at the ports. After you feel it the first time, it really shouldn't bother you. The first time is kind of a different experience, but not something that would make you seasick.

I thought by now someone has had to take pics :confused3
Still excited about going:banana:

By doing a Google search, I found a couple of pictures from a room tour of either 9170 or 9670....can't remember which for sure....but they were pretty dark, and it was hard to get an idea of what it all really looked like because there were so many people in the room.

I also would like pictures of 9170, I am in a wheelchair and I am not fond of surprises. We also have 9172, are the connecting doors in the cabin and on the verandah wide enough for the chair????

Thanks
Sherry

Just about to book.....is 8684 a good choice for a nice big balcony? Any pictures?
Alternatives would be 7192 or 6690
Debxx:woohoo:

We stayed in 7690 aft stateroom on the Dream. I'm sorry that I don't have a full image of the balcony(chairs, table) but I can say that it was spacious. Large enough for some laser battles and for my kids to run around and play.

In the aft rooms, you will always have a great view of the port where we are docked. Castaway Cay is in the background. Also, we were able to clearly see ALL the fireworks from our veranda on pirate night. That was such a wonderful treat! It was nice to get away from the crowds and just enjoy it as a family.

That's great that you could see the fireworks from 7690! Keeping my fingers crossed we can see them from 9174 and 9176!

I am so excited, this is our room on September 1st!!!! Thanks so much for the info.

I thought they always asked people to not be on their aft balconies during the fireworks?
I know when we've had rooms on Decks 7 & 8, they came and sprayed some kind of fire retardant, and I could swear they asked us to not be back there in case of falling sparks or whatever.

oh thank you for the pics!! Glad to hear about the firework viewing!!!!:thumbsup2

I was undecided if I want to switch our wdw/dcl trip into just a wdw trip, but your pics have me leaning towards keeping the dcl part as well! I just hope it is worth the mula!:rolleyes1

Lol, Paris!

That's ours next May!! Though looks like decks 9, 8 and 7 have a room with an even bigger balcony!

I saw video of this room on youtube and said ohhh, that's the room for me. Am worried about autistic son standing on edge of sofa and reaching the lock on the balcony door... sofa seems right up against the door. But... in the video of this room being a corner, it's misshaped, and sofa is not next to door, there is space. That, plus the balcony, had said ohhh, perfect room for us!
Had to switch our Nov 20th date, and was VERY happy when we finally found a date in May 2012 that works for us to see this room was available!

Thanks for switching!!!!I'll be in it Nov 20th 2011!!!!WOOTWOOT!:cool1:
