Disney Tattoos

I think red. First, it's a color that will pop against all the blue, plus Mickey has red shorts. JMO, HTH!

Agreed! Plus I think it is the most classic colored Mickey balloon there is. Either that or a pink to go with the softness of Alice's colors.

I am planning on getting a tattoo of Alice in Wonderland holding a Mickey Mouse balloon. What color should the balloon be? My dad thinks blue to match the dress but I think that might be too much blue. Any suggestions or opinions?

Whilst it's good to ask other peoples opinion the only question i would ask is what color do YOU want .. its going to be on your body forever so its really your opinon that counts... your tattoo artist may be able to advise on what he/she thinks will work best but ultimatley your choice good luck :thumbsup2

Thanks for all the feedback. I am pretty sure I am going to go with red. That is what my gut has been telling me but I will talk to my artist for his opinion prior to getting my tattoo. I stopped by the shop today to make my appointment and showed him the the Alice pic I want to use as a reference.

He is a very talented artist and was booked out about a month and a half so I am getting my tattoo in the middle of June. Below is a link to his portfolio. He did my dad and my brother's tattoo's and did amazing work.

Hubby and I are considering getting matching Mickey and Minnie tattoos on the back of our calves. Someone on another forum had a picture of Mickey and Minnie from the back - sitting in adirondak chairs looking at the beach. We'd love to do something like that. I'm working on drawing something similar.

I also have a 'hidden Mickey' tattoo on my neck (in my avatar) but I might get the Mickey icon filled in solid black - it's kind of hard to see him. Oh decisions decisions!!

Todays work by BlackStar Guernsey :cool1:

This came out amazing! A lot of people have gotten the version the artist did of Ariel as a tattoo, and many of them were not good quality. But this is almost an exact copy of the original. Is it going to be colored in? (sorry if you already answered that)

Thanks :thumbsup2
its staying as black and shade as my skin doesn't take well to colour.. If you think this is good my wifes will astound you once its finished. It's the same tattoo but in color and closer to the original.... will post a link once its finished and posted on tim schumate's site.

Here's the Jasmine she already has :cool1:

Absolutely amazing. I'm super jealous. I would love to get one of Tim's princesses tattooed, but I'd be way too scared that it would not come out right. But these two are brilliant.

this is after the second session. The tinkerbell, mickey and lower back piece are older tattoos that have to be recolored yet.

This is after the third session. Total of about 22 hours of work. This piece will be finished in July. I am so happy with how it is coming along.

Wow these tattoos are fantastic!! I don't have any (yet), but my DH has several, one of which is Disney-inspired. He had intended on getting the Yeti from a t-shirt we'd gotten at AK, but his tattoo artist didn't want to copy something off a shirt, so they compromised and DH let him take some creative liberties with the design. Here is the end result:
