WDW food traditions - what are your "must-haves"?

I have to get an ice cream cone from the Ice Cream Parlor on Main St. USA. I don't know what it is, just something kind of nostalgic about it.

And although I don't get them everytime, I do really love getting the Mickey shapes waffles.

I'm hoping F&W adds to our list of favorites.

Coca Cola with popcorn

Churros

Dole float

Mickey ice cream bar

Napoleon from France

Grey Goose slushie

Frozen Coke

Corn dog

Turkey leg (my DD's must have)

'Ohana on the first night and Tony's on the last used to be our traditions. This year we're going hard and throwing it out the window.

Tuskar House breadfast is a must do. The corned beef hash is awesome, it's not the canned junk in the grocery store. There is onion, green pepper, and topped with cornbread yum. Also they make this mustard based glaze, with an African flare, for the hand carved ham that is to die for.

We love The Chrystal Palace for Breakfast, Counter service in Germany (love that brat and kraut with a beer!) and 50's Prime time for dinner. Though the Prime time is mostly for the atmosphere as the food can be hit or miss. In general I am not a fan of most of Disney's food.

Definitely the bakery in France at Epcot, Disney rice krispie treats, Dole Whip and we used to love the Strawberry Swirl in Fantasyland but they no longer serve that.

Boma for breakfast! Specifically - goat cheese/chive eggs, grilled tomatoes and asparagus, and chili sambal over all of it. YUM!

And I am recently hooked on the stuffed pretzels - sweet or spicy. That and a Coke make a fine afternoon snack - while I sit on a bench people watching!

On the first day of the trip we head to the Magic Kingdom then we always go to the plaza restaurant for lunch

My "must have" list:
Churro
Mickey Bar
Fudge Apple from that villain candy store in DHS
New one found last year....Croissant Berry Bread Pudding in Sunshine Seasons! OMG this stuff is heaven in a cup!!! :cloud9:

Hubby always needs his turkey leg...preferably in AK so he can wash it down with beer pirate:

Oooh, I forgot. We love to rush to MS Bakery on our first MK day. I get an egg and cheese croissant and a Coke, DH and the boys get whatever they want, and we go and sit at a table in that little alley off Main Street. It's a great, relaxing way to start the day!

And we do love Ohana, as well. It's the only place I ever ever ever eat meat. I get the shrimp and the steak. And go to town on them :)

Well, I agree with the Dole Whip*, but my favorite has to be the pulled pork sandwich at Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge.

*When most people talk about a "Dole Whip" they refer to the ice cream and pineapple juice but that is actually cakked a 'Pineapple Float' while the 'Dole Whip' is just the ice cream.

Mine are all snack foods, but still must haves!

Dole Whip
Jalepeno Cheese Stuffed Pretzel (Animal Kingdom)
Funnel Cake
& Last but not least a Caramel Apple!!! I had no idea they would slice these for you at the park. Will definitely take advantage of that next time :cool1:

1.Zebra Domes
2. Citrus Swirl
3. Character Meal (if gks along)
4. Boma
5.Cape May
6. Le Cellier
7. Bakery in France
8. Mama Melrose (go figure)
9. Earl of Sandwich
10.Gospel Brunch
11. ESPN Club- (why not)
12. Beaches and Cream
13. Beer & Brat in Germany

In no particular order:

Crystal Palace

Mickey Ice Cream Bar

Popcorn at Epcot to eat while watching Illuminations (why does it taste so much better at WDW than anyplace else? popcorn::

Chef Mickey's

Rice Krispey bar

Boma's

Tusker House

Hot dog from Casey's for Parade/Fireworks watching

1. Ohana dinner
2. Boma breakfast
3. Le cellier pretzel bread!
4. Ghiradelli brownie sundae :cloud9:
5. Rice crispy from Goofy's dipped in cocolate and covered with Reese's and M&M's.
6. Dole whip
7. Casey's corn dog nuggets
8. Double chocolate chip muffin with powdered sugar from Main st. bakery

Boma for breakfast! Specifically - goat cheese/chive eggs !

I also love those goat cheese and chive eggs, but last time we were there, they didn't have them. I asked our server and she said that they're on a rotation-that those eggs are only offered on certain days. I guess we've always gone on those "certain days" in the past, because to me they have always been there, until this last time.

Dole Whip
Nachos from Tortuga Tavern
Burgers at Pecos Bill's
Dinner at Blue Zoo
A meal at Rose & Crown
Buffet at the Germany Pavillion
Sci-Fi Drive In
Earl of Sandwich

My son can't walk in the gates of WDW without fussing for Popcorn! I think he likes it more than the rides! I can't go without visiting Ohana. The shrimp with those tasty sauces.....YUM!!!

My must haves for each trip usually include a meal at Cosmic Rays in MK (for the Turkey sandwich) at least 1 character meal, and most definitely a Red Velvet Cupcake from Starring Rolls in DHS!
