"Official" 2015 MNSSHP thread

I'm torn on the MM thing. I never pre buy because I hate having my picture taken and will only buy one or two if any.....can't decide...

A. If I may be more inclined to buy some unique shot for the fun of it

B. If I even want to bother with PP lines that I may or may not buy

I saw somewhere that it was like $39 bucks and that might actually be worth the gamble of hating all the pictures..hahaha did I mention that I hate having my picture taken (I'm one of those people who always looks uncomfortable or fake in 'posed' pictures).

Do any of you guys normally NOT buy PP pictures but love the special event ones? Just the magic shots. I am also not a M&G person and can almost guarantee that I will not do any of them.

I actually have one taken a few years ago between the stacked pumpkins with the castle in the background. I like the picture even though I look stiff as a board in it. I have maybe twice as many trips as I do pictures.

We're leaving in a week, so I want to make sure: if our MNSSHP tickets are listed on MDE, we only need to scan our MBs and don't have to worry about hard tickets?

I believe this is true. My fear is scanning my magic band and having a full day park admission deducted upon admission instead of just the party! So to put my mind at ease, I am bringing my hard tickets and using those! I've read other comments that say your way will work as well, I am just paranoid I guess!

So, Jack and Sally are not out until 11:00ish like most the other characters? But the many start making appearances at 5:30ish?

We have a 6:20 reservation at BOG. I am wondering now if our dinner time seems to be at a bad time.

If your hard tickets are linked to MDE, the cards are basically a clone of your MagicBand. All entitlements on a MDE account are accessible by all 'shells' (cards and bands) attached to that same account.

I asked previously but haven't gotten a response as of yet...Is the only face painting kiosk in Tomorrowland or are there others around MK? I need to have DD's face done as part of her costume...we have a BOG ressie at 4:15 and once we are done with that want to have the face painted and then get in line for Jack/Sally. I was hopeful that the kiosk would be near by.

Jack and Sally appear between 6.30 and 7pm. If they are your priority then yes your BOG ADR is not at the best time. I would look a couple of days before your party date and see if you can get a time before the party starts. People start to line up for them just before 5pm

Discounts for the military and for CMs are only being offered during the September parties. With so few parties in September this year, I can see why so many are crowded and selling out in September. On the bright side, this may bode well for the October parties since they increased the number of parties next month this year. Of course, that doesn't help the September folks.

Hey everyone, quick question. Do characters meet while the parades are running? I was considering watching the second parade from Frontierland and immediately after it passes, try to meet Jack Sparrow and the Tarzan crew. Would this work? Thanks in advance!

The party specific magic shots are NOT guaranteed. We tried to get the cauldron show at 2 parties last year and no luck.

I never really care for our Haunted Mansion pictures - I always have red eye in them, which they don't bother to fix.

Also, our PhotoPass pictures with Jack & Sally AND the Dwarfs both turned out AWFUL last year. Luckily, we had them get back up shots with my iPhone - which turned out MUCH better (like, actually visible.)

So...I just some stuff to maybe take into account before getting MemoryMaker for the party. We get it every trip and the party photos are really the only ones we've been disappointed in - I guess because we waited longer to get them!

We've done this in the past with Jack Sparrow and encountered no wait to meet him. Just make sure you're on the "right" side of the street in Frontierland because a pretty substantial line formed right behind us. This also worked for us in past years when the parade was earlier. I think the risk this year is that the parade is later and Jack may go in for the night before the parade ends. That's mere speculation, though.
