"Official" 2015 MNSSHP thread

Thank you! My son loves that monorail. When he was younger, his favorite "rides" were the monorail and the tram from the parking lot. We joked that we could have saved a lot of $ on AP's.
Did you see Fresh Off the Boat the other night? That's what the mother did when she found out how much the tickets were for Gator World - they rode around on the tram

Is it 4PM or 7PM the earliest adults can be dressed up for the Halloween party? Or are they lenient all day of MNSSHP? We are doing park hopping and plan to hop over around 3PM. Last year I just brought a backpack with my costume and changed at 7PM.
Ideal would be their lenient. As we will be at Epcot enjoying F&W until 2:00, then I'd like to stop at our Resort (YC) and change and head to MK by 3pm for Festival of Fantasy. Then I'd already be dressed no backpack to lug around, and all we need to do is find the spots in the park to get our Party bands.

Your plan is fine, you could get into Magic Kingdom anytime that day in costume.

4pm is just the earliest time they let the people with only MNSSHP party tickets into the park. 7pm is the start time of the party. Since you will be hopping, you could get in anytime and yes you can be in costume :) We are doing really similar to your timeframe.

We have MNSSHP E-tickets for Oct 6 and they are linked to our MDE account. We will enter MK at 4pm and have FP+ reservations between 4 and 6pm. Do we get hard tickets or do we have to use our magic bands for the FP+? I want to make sure that we will not be charged a park entrance if we use our magic bands.

Has anyone heard if they have Hocus pocus shirts still in. Going Sunday and wanting to get that. As well as the lonely ghost popcorn bucket and mug. and the vampire mickey popcorn bucket. anyone heard if those are out or when they might be.

I am so excited to go, but I forgot when booking my tickets that Oct 12th is a US holiday as well -_- I hope Disney has better control of the non-paying crowd by then. I was last there a few years back (one of the first years they had it) and it was the best time I ever had at Disney. The whole family went, but because my sister and I were teenagers then and my parents were not as into rides as us, we ended up doing alot of stuff together. Including riding the Haunted Mansion like 4 times in a row!

And now there are so many other things added to it that wasn't there before, I hope I can still make the most out of it. My biggest goal is meeting Jack and Sally. I already told my husband that soon after we finish meeting Mickey at 5 (before the party starts) we are heading down to Jack and Sally's area to attempt to get a good spot in line. I want to meet them bad, but don't want to spend 2 hours in line waiting either.

My daughter is OBSESSED with NBC and wants to be the 'pumpkin queen' for Halloween while we are there. So if you see a little girl dressed as Jack Skellington that is us. =P - so obviously meeting Jack and Sally is number 1 priority. We will already be in MK that day so as soon as she is finished at BBB (3:00 appt on our party day - wife wants her to be Aurora) we are going to line up for Jack and Sally.

I don't remember this question being addressed, but, I know the Cadaver Dans do some pre-parade entertainment in Frontierland, is there anything going on in the Main Street area before the parade? A couple of years ago there was a group that did "Calling All the Monsters" and had people join in the dance, but haven't heard if they still do that.

Picked up my Hocus Pocus tshirt from the Emporium, there were plenty there at 4.30pm. Wristbands were checked to get into the party merchandise area.

Crowds good so far. We've ridden IASW 3 times because it's my sons favorite ride and I'll be happy if we never ride that again!

How much are the shirts? I want to pick one up for my sis when we are there.

I really need to get a hand on this multi quote stuff. LOL I haven't been to a party yet this year but I think your list of characters to meet is alot based on what I'm reading here.
It sounds like you have to get a parade spot early if you want to be in the front plus waits for characters seem to be longer than in the past since there are less of them.
Maybe if you choose your top 3 characters and then try for the other in order of preference so if you don't meet someone you won't be too disappointed.
On the other hand - you may end up with a fantastic not crowded Halloween Party and could get through them all and then some!

Good luck!

Thank you dear!
