Well, I have no idea what is triggering these bannings. But I was getting a lot of orders cancelled when I was trying to order the $200 eBay. SO, for me, I am staying away from that one.

I think this will be my 1 and only time doing the eBay churn, I've learned from this test drive that I don't have the stomach for it, especially with Target starting to ban people.

I dipped my toe in the water with (2) $200 eBay gift cards purchased for $340 (10% Gift Card Zen discount on Target cards and then 5% redcard discount on the eBay cards). I didn't realize that the 2.99 shipping charge for the Target cards on eBay was for each DENOMINATION ... I added 2 $150 and 1 $100 card to my cart and the total shipping was $6.97 so $2.99 + .99 for the 2 $150 cards and another $2.99 for the $100 card. Still a profit though since it earned $30 in eBay bucks and I went through SwagBucks. But then to redeem the eBay bucks when it's time I'd have to kick in $22.99 to get a Target gift card, correct? Since the lowest denomination is $50 and there's the $2.99 shipping? Unless I take my chances on an individual seller that's selling a $30 card?

This is why it's a one and done thing for me .. so many formulaic steps to make sure you're getting the max return on investment! One wrong step and you drastically cut into your percentage! And no control over stock levels and bonus invites. Having $1,200 always in play somewhere is the best strategy but that's a huge chunk of change x2 to be playing around with and the stress would have me running to the bathroom all day while simultaneously refreshing my eBay, gift card granny, and target screens on my cell phone and praying I don't get banned from target dot com. I swear I would look like the mug shot of that woman they arrested for disney ticket scalping that they showed on last week's dis unplugged show.

I'll just stay where it's (semi) safe (hopefully) and stick to an average 12% overall discount. To all of you churners, let the Force be with you!!

The whole "churning" process is in the thread. It's not for the faint of heart, so if you're motivated enough to do it, you should be motivated enough to go back far enough in this thread to see how it's done. In fact, it's probably been explained 4-5 times in the past month alone, so you don't even have to go back that far.

I've gone back to as far as page 420, but it seems like there are multiple ways to do it, so it is confusing for new players like me. Anyways, I got the 4x offer on ebay so I gotta act quick now. These are the steps I want to do for now, please fix me if I'm wrong or let me know if there's better way to do it.
1. Log in swagbucks, buy eTarget gift cards through Raise at 6% off. I get 1 SB for every dollar. However, can I buy multiple 25$ egift card instead of one big denomination? I also notice this description from Raise and it spooks me a little bit. I don't know if it means I can't use my GC to buy ebay gc on target.

• To redeem your Target gift card in store, you can transfer it to your Target app. Gift cards may not be used toward the purchase of other gift cards.

2. Combine and convert egiftcard to target GC through target mobile apps.
3. Buy 200$ eBay gift card through target.com using target GC, apply 5% red card discount
4. Use eBay gc to buy target GC from GCM and pay the shipping fee of $2.99 for first card. I should buy the biggest denomination to save shipping money, right? And if I have enough funds, I should buy multiple target GC at once, because shipping fee is less after first card?!?

When checking out on ebay through paypal, and trying to apply ebay gift cards, has anyone ever gotten the message that the system cannot apply the code to the order? When I check the balance of the gift card itself, it still shows $200.

Step 2 is no longer easy - Target removed the ability to combine gift cards in their mobile app. You can 'buy' larger Target gift cards with smaller ones, but it takes a little time for the order to process.

That said, eBay no longer has restrictions on the number of gift cards you can use in a single transaction, so you can buy smaller denomination eBay cards if you want. Target limits the number you can use in one purchase to 4.

Step 4 is mostly correct. Shipping is only $.99 after your first card, assuming they're all the same denomination.

May be fine for you to buy the $200. Many are able to order that denomination. But I have only been successful once with it. And lots on slickdeals reported getting the $200 canceled. And there are plenty of resellers on slickdeals so it makes me think Target does associate something with that gift card and resellers.

1) be hitting your $5000-in-6-months limit
2) be trying to use eBay bucks and a gift card at the same time
3) have an issue with your Paypal account

I bought (2) $200 eBay gift cards and a $100 card this morning and they arrived quickly without any problems. I did have another item (office supply) in my order that's set for delivery.

All this banning talk has me somewhat worried, but we shop at Target a lot -- both in store and online -- for more than just Disney and eBay gift cards. Although, since we discovered Raise, Cardpool, etc., we've been buying Target gift cards at a discount and using them in store whenever the discounted cards are better than the Red Card discount, so unfortunately, there's no way to tie those purchases to our Red Card. We do put smaller charges on the Red Card every now and then to keep it active. Recently, we started putting in more online orders for everyday things for in store pickup to tie those purchases to our Red Card and also double up on the gift card and Red Card discounts. I'd hate to be banned for smart shopping.

You cannot use a Target GC to purchase a prepaid GC like a Visa or MasterCard GC. As of right now, Target's corporate policy does not prohibit you from using a Target GC to purchase other GCs like Starbucks, eBay or Disney GCs.

You can no longer combine Target GCs using their app. But you can go to a Target store and have their customer service staff combine them all on a single GC. Or, you can purchase a Target egift card online, using no more than 4 GCs to make that purchase.

3. Buy 200$ eBay gift card through target.com using target GC, apply 5% red card discount

You will wait a few hours for the electronic delivery of the eBay GC and then up to 4 more hours for it to be activate for use on eBay.

4. Use eBay gc to buy target GC from GCM and pay the shipping fee of $2.99 for first card. I should buy the biggest denomination to save shipping money, right? And if I have enough funds, I should buy multiple target GC at once, because shipping fee is less after first card?!?

That's pretty much the gist of it. Hopefully, you will accomplish steps #1-#3 in a timely manner so that your 4x eBay bucks offer doesn't expire, or GCM runs out of Target GCs.

That is smart 88keys! I should have thought of that. However, I *nervously* placed an order for eBay gift cards on target.com just a few minutes ago. I did not do the $200 denomination as that one gets cancelled a lot for me so maybe it draws more attention and I did not go through ebates. That measley few dollars just isn't worth it if that is what might be drawing attention.

Order went through just fine! Ordered 3 $100 ebay and 1 $25 ebay...skipped ebates on purpose

Oh, you know what, I had bought Target gift cards with them as soon as I got them. So they were no longer in Raise format. I wonder if they can be used in the store???

Not normal. When this happens to me, I just go in and cancel the order, and then reorder. I wouldn't want to contact CS about it.
