In my opinion, I would do Prime Time as its a blast and if you play with the servers it's a blast. Liberty Tree is one of my daughter's favorite and chose that for her 10th birthday dinner. Crystal Oalace to me is a rite of passage as its right at then end of Main St USA and seems like a must do at least once. As far as Ohana and 1900.... We like both and hard to compare. 1900 Buffett at either breakfast and dinner is American fare with characters, where Ohana is character in morning but at night a fun night of constant food coming to your table....noodles are awesome. I would also suggest Kona at the Poly for breakfast. Never make a trip without going there. Tonga toast. Yum. Take a look at Boma for a great Buffett also. With this all being said, you will enjoy no matter what. Food isn't always 5 star, but always fun. Enjoy!
If you're using the dining plan and want to free up a TS credit, you can also get Tonga Toast at Captin Cook's and use a QS credit.

Saying that, I am going to try and book BOG for brekkie as I like the early entry into the park and understand that's probably the easiest booking for BOG to get.
Might have to save our grey stuff for later in the day tho!

I believe you can get the grey stuff cupcake at breakfast and it should be a snack credit.

Question: If you get regular free dining, does anyone know the cost to upgrade to deluxe?

Currently booked at Contemporary w/ deluxe, but hoping for free dining.

About $51 per adult per day.

It's only $37 to upgrade from regular dining to deluxe per adult. It's $60 to go from QSDP to deluxe.
Kids are just under $14 from regular and $18 from QSDP.

So guess no rumors yet means this isn't happening tomorrow night/ Monday morning. So we have probably at least 1 more week. I'm sick and have nothing better to do then stare at this board. Lol.

I really, really hope you're right. Even my TA thought it might drop the first week of April. With that said, it won't surprise me one bit if it doesn't drop until the last week of April like it has historically...just to make people's heads explode. :furious:

I know a couple people have gone back to last year's thread. Was there a lot of chatter then that it would drop early like there is this year?

Yeah I should have bolded the at least part in my thread. Lol.

Oops. My mistake.

PS I'm getting ansy. I've been playing with multiple resorts and sets of dates to compare prices. I need to start making spreadsheets like you pros.

Can I just say what a pleasure it has been to hang out with you all and wait for FDing. It's good to be with other obsessed people!! But I'm super impressed in hundreds of pages no one has been snide or snarky :flower1:

That's the reason I love this thread. It's was great last year, too. Everyone was just so helpful.

I do this to myself every year. Every year we say we are going to skip a year and decide not to book the bounce back And every year we say what the heck let's go back and I'm stuck stressing out waiting for free dining lol hello again every one ✌

Did you see this prediction from the dad site about the end of free dining?

Now, he admittedly says he doesn't really know, but I'm intrigued when he says there's been no rumblings of free dining. Does anyone with more experience than me know if this is true?

Wow, I hate that idea!! I've convinced two families to make their first trip to WDW this year based on FD. If they don't have it neither family will go. (One family is from California and gets to go to Disneyland)

ok, I'm not sure what to do...I have a reservation for POR garden view already. That is our first choice, but second choice is Beach Club, garden view. I need FD and all along there has been showing availability at POR garden view for our dates until today. That doesn't affect our reservation but what if I can't get POR because it is always so limited in their room selection for FD, and all of my second choice BC is booked up....should I just book a second reservation at BC while there is availability, just in case all of the garden view rooms book up like POR did? Hmmm..... opinions?

I hope there is absolutely no truth to this as we may have to consider staying elsewhere this year...

I find the dad site garbage. All it is is one giant advertisement for the travel agency he endorses. When I did subscribe every email was just something telling me to buy his stuff or use his travel agent.

If there is no FD for your dates, where do you want to stay? Just because you have a room now doesn't mean you will get to keep that room with FD. If there are no more POR garden views for your dates now, chances are there won't be any for FD, including the one you have.
