I got so excited about the personalising of the magic bands and I spent hours browsing all the etsy decals etc people are selling and I saved heaps I thought my husband and daughter would like.

Then I told them all about it and I sat them down with the lap top and said we could play around with all the different options and look at the accessories etc.

My 11yo looked at them all and went, "Meh. I'll just have a plain green band"

Then my husband said "I just want grey".

And I flipped!
"You can't have grey! Grey is the default. Grey means you don't care! Grey is for LOSERS!"

I tried to compromise and said he could have grey if he put some Star Wars decals or something on it, but he is adamant he just wants plain grey.

Why don't my family want to have fun with me???!!!!

lol!! I didn't know about most of that stuff. I've heard of vegamite because my teenager is on an all Britain kick. Lol.
 
Most of the time we coordinate our bands with a theme, a lot of times we will match our shoe colors to what color we picked for our bands........so cool!!!

Hahaha I love this! Admittedly when I see someone with a gray magicband on I immediately say in my head, huh they didn't plan anything :) I agree, you can't have Gray hahaha:)
 
We need some news. I've taken to planning my vacation for next year. Lol. (Not disney.) sacrilege!!

Keep in mind we're Australian, so cheesy American is no problem for us. Tourist kitsch it right up our alley! Fingers crossed we get FD so there is not This or That. We just get it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit: we're foodies, but for this trip, atmosphere and fun will probably trump the menus. Our daughter will be 12 so is young enough to enjoy the kids stuff, but is fine with doing more grown up stuff too. She's a foodie too but isn't fussy.

Crystal Palace - for breakfast
Ohana for dinner, 1900 for breakfast

It will be three years in December since we went But we had been in 2011, 2012, and 2014 so it was time to take a few years off. We always go to the beach when we don't do disney. Love it have a favorite townhome we rent and only 6 hour drive.

But next year I'm planning something different. My oldest will graduate next May and she doesn't like the beach or hot weather. So I'm trying to plan a cold trip. I'm thinking a New England cruise that goes into Canada in October.

I digress.... come on rumors.
 
Do room only offers usually come out the same time as FD? I am trying to see which offer would be better for us.
