unfortunately it doesn't work like that, it will show you went there but won't give you credit. Are you seeing a $ amount pending?

You have to click through before you make the purchase. This is very, very unlikely to credit unless you were logged in and activated the shopping portal before you made the purchase. If you go back after, it will show up in your shopping trips that you went to BJs and activated, but it probably won't track the previous transaction.

If you do get great, you are damn lucky because I have never had it work after the fact. I usually cancel the order quickly and redo it if I realize that I forget to activate.

I am really confused by BJ's. I'm looking at the $150 gift cards (a pack of three $50 cards) and it says the "online price" is $147.99, with an additional $7.50 savings today. But a single $50 card is $47.99, making three cards a total of $143.97. What am I missing? Why would anyone buy the three-pack (at the stated "online price") rather than three separate $50 cards? I understand buying today, with the additional $7.50 discount, but otherwise it makes no sense to me.

The Best Buy offer of "Buy $150 / Get $15 Limit of 2 is online only. When purchasing the Disney Gift Cards that would be in-store.

Hmmm, the 3pk is $140.49 / 3 = $46.83 And the $50 is at $47.99
Here's a screen shot from BJ's - clearly it shows $140.49 not $147.99.

I think AmyAnne is referring to the price when it's not on sale like it is today. It makes no sense to buy the 3 pack at its regular price of 147.99.

I usually buy the $100 gift cards for $94.99, except for when there is a deal like today, then it makes more sense to do the 3 pack.

Ok, math dummy here. Please help! I jut bought 2 of the 3 pack of GC from BJs (first time ever). Went through ebates for addt'l 1% CB. Paid $280.98 for $300 in Disney cards. Earned $2.81 in ebates. Whats my % saved (not including CC reward points)? TIA!

Personally I went with the Best Buy deal for a future trip. A 10% savings is a great deal and from my experience I have never received cash back from any site including Discover on gift card purchases. Not saying it has never ever happened but it has not with me. I am a member of Ebates and Shopathome.

$280.98 - $2.81 = $278.17

278.17 / 300 *100 = 92.72 %

100 - 92.72 = 7.28% saved
