Hope this helps. Had to use screenshot my iPhone photo was to big to upload
Thank you! Exactly what I was hoping to see. Look like the same design as the one I got last year, just in a different print. DS had been using the backpack we got 2 years ago for school until the strap broke this week and I didn't want to give him mine from last year if I wasn't going to be able to replace it with another. Now to just keep my fingers crossed that they still have them in August when we go back.

Hi
I'm going to be staying at Pop the second week of August which I know is still in the peak season. What is a reasonable time to get to the bus stop to insure we get on the first bus to the parks. 30 min prior? 15? Thanks

You may not like this answer but first buses to the parks depart around 6:30am and even earlier for AK right now.

If you're asking about how long before park opening you should get to the Pop bus stop, my personal aim is aim to arrive at the Pop bus stop at least 1 hour prior to park opening. There are often lines so you may need to wait for more thank 1 bus plus, transportation time, walking to security, going through security and lining up at the gates.

If you're looking for crowd samples a Rope Drop for various parks I'd recommend checking our easyWDW.

Thanks! That's ok. Don't mind waking up early. Do you think getting to the stop around 6:15 would get us on? Thanks

Yes, for most of the parks 6:15 shouldn't be a problem but you may wish to arrive earlier for AK if they continue opening the park at 7am as they are currently. The crowds there have been c-r-a-z-y!!!

Awesome! Thanks for the advice! Yeah I've noticed! We were considering skipping pandora entirely due to the craziness down there.

I know!!!

Just wanted to clarify, I am not recommending you hop on a bus at 6:30 for a park that opens at 9am. If a park opens at 9am personally if I wanted to be there for rope drop I'd aim to be at the bus stop around 7:45am. I figure I'm going to wait so I'd rather wait to get into the park with lower crowds then arrive close to park opening and be behind all the people who arrived 30 mins earlier then I did. Rope drop can be great for riding with lower waits as the park fills up.

That's even better news! I think as of right now I only have one day with an 8am emh. So that'll help a lot. Thanks

To add to the advice @scrappinginontario has given you our rule of thumb is to leave our resort room 75 minutes before the park opens. Whatever time that may be.

This year with AK/Pandora insanity I may need to change that rule up a little though.

The last 2 times I was there (Nov. & April-May) the sides for lunch and dinner at 2 of the counters was fries, pasta salad and coleslaw. I remember this because I can't eat either the salad or the coleslaw and I am not a fan of fries. One I think has veggies as I know I got beans and mash potatoes with my salmon meal. I don't remember the other counter. Sorry.

Thank you! We're hoping to share some meals so I was wondering how much food you would get on a plate and what kind of variety there would be for sides so thanks for the help.

Dis Menus: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/disneydining.cfm There are usually 4 or 5 veg. sides to choice from each night.

Unfortunately that link won't work for me. I'll keep trying though, thanks.

You could try to get to the menus by going to the top of this page and clicking on "Walt Disney World". When that page loads, click on "Walt Disney World" again. Then choose "dining" and then click on "Disney Menus".

That worked! Thanks a lot. I'm a fussy eater so I need to plan what places I can eat at and this is the most detailed menus I've come across!:rotfl:

Don'tforget to check kids menus. I eat them quite often as the adult portions are big and LOADED with carbs!
Example, we were just Pop. Guy in front of us got a meatball grinder (more roll than meatballs), with two sides. Chips and a breadstick and the breadstick was as big as the sub roll! Corn is usually one veg choice and thats carbs to me. Kids meal you can get healthier choices, IMO.

You might also want to look at the options at Landscape of Flavors at Art of Animation. It's a quick walk across the bridge from Pop Century and offers a different menu than Pop.
