Hurricane Irma?

Hi, yes we do. I wasn't sure if they would have the ability to turn us away if they are still at capacity when we arrive?

I have never heard of Disney cancelling a reservation if they are at capacity. Your reservation (and all others who are arriving) would have been taken into consideration when they were accepting reservations prior to the hurricane.

Still haven't cancelled the trip starting the 17th, but I'm on the fence. I assume things will be fine at the parks and whatnot. Just wouldn't want to get in the way either.

We check in on the 16th. We just heard back from our travel agent who said we will be fine and to go on with our plans! So we are!

Disney CM has just asked us to delete the photos of damage at the resort that we had taken. We weren't doing it to be critical (Disney has been amazing) but rather to remember our Irma experience. We complied out of respect nonetheless. Too bad they didn't get to the person who sent the photo of the downed tree at the Poly to Fox News.

Wow. I would not have deleted my photos. I'm surprised that Disney is actively doing that sort of "damage control".

Really, wow. We had cast members at Poly taking pictures for families next to the down trees and debris. The staff here has been unbelievably friendly and helpful. They are clearing the debris as we speak. There are staff members stationed by the bigger trees that block some paths to direct guests around, but they are encouraging or at least not discouraging pictures here.

I'm really surprised at that, but more importantly, it's a waste of time - there are pictures of the damage all over social media!

That's weird.

Please get the name of that vigilante CM and report them. That's insane
