Disney's BOARDWALK INN Information & Questions

I just switched my first 3 nights from Yacht Club to Boardwalk INN.

First night Boardwalk View Club Level. Any idea which rooms these may be? I saw there are not alot of this booking type (like 5 rooms or something)

I haven't stayed at BWV yet (arriving on Friday), but we stayed at the BCV in February. And I believe they are the same layout. That is where we put our son, near the doorway. We did have to move the Pack n Play every morning after he got up, but it did block him a little from the firework booms and the light from the windows. The only issue we had was a bunch of kids running and screaming down the halls one night around 10:30 which woke him up (they were THAT loud). But I did find that little nook worked well for the most part.

I'll report back after our trip this weekend.

Awesome, please let me know! I'm bringing a white noise machine as well as a stand up room divider to sort of close off the pack n play. Hope it works

I heard that there was a power outage yesterday or today for a little over an hour. Wonder what that was about.

Hi,

Could I ask where you heard/read that there are only like 5 rooms for that booking type? I'm actually looking to book this myself, and per disney website boardwalk view club level has "Views of Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Gardens, Crescent Lake or BoardWalk" while the standard view club level rooms only have views of the quiet pool. Going by the map on touring plans, it would seem there would be more "boardwalk views" club level rooms than "standard view" since most of the standard view rooms would have to be all the way at the end of the building where the quiet pool is located.

Thanks

Has anybody been able to come up with a solution for a second bedside table for the boardwalk villa studios.

Thank you

Ill try to find the link. I think its because some CLUB rooms are DELUXE (which are larger). And some of the club rooms are cottages (garden area). So of that there are only a certain number of standard club rooms.

Spoke with Signature Services. She looked it up for me. There are 8 rooms at BWI classified as Boardwalk View Club Level (standard size not deluxe).

Turn the trashcan upside down. Use the end of your suitcase for a bedside table. Place one of the chairs at the side of the bed.

Are guests permitted to use Community Hall when staying at BWV on a cash reservation?

Can someone familiar with boardwalk Inn help a clueless person out please - where is the club lounge located? Where are the standard view club level rooms located by comparison? Are there any counter services offered in the Inn at all like Contemporary has the Contempo and Poly has Capt Cooks. Finally I'll like to order a birthday cake and have it delivered to room - who do I contact? Thanks so much! :)

The Lounge is located on the 4th floor. Standard view will have a view of the courtyard and some rooms will be able to see the quiet pool as well.

BWI has the bakery for quick service but you must exit the resort and walk outside on the boardwalk to access it. There's Belle View Lounge that is located inside of the hotel and has some breakfast items and coffee, tea, soda but if you are club level this wouldn't interest you since they serve breakfast upstairs. Belle View doesn't serve any other meals besides breakfast quick service.

There's a cake chatter thread at the top of the restaurant board and you can find all the info about ordering a cake on the first page of that thread. The BW bakery makes the cake but I can't remember if you call them directly or some place else.

Do you know where the lounge is by looking at this map? Hopefully the image appears with the link? :)

Hi everyone. I just booked my first ever BWI stay! Dates 12/27-12/31. My mom and I will be bringing my kiddos. My father passed away at the end of August and it has just been and overall rough year. We decided want to spend the end of the year in our happy place. My mom is my usual Disney travel partner. This will be my 15th or 16th trip (I've lost count!) and my mom's 12th.

We have a standard room booked. With 2 little ones and a double stroller, where would be the most convenient location? We plan on walking to Epcot and HS and hopefully taking Minnie Vans to and from MK. We'd rather not have to deal with buses if we don't have to. Also, are there any standard view rooms that offer view of the fireworks? The kids will be sleeping by fireworks time but it would be awesome if my mom and I could view them from the room. TIA!

We have been able to see the Epcot fireworks from standard rooms on the 4th and 5th floor of BWI when we were overlooking the courtyard/quiet pool. We were also able to see the Star Wars fireworks at Hollywood Studios from those floors when we had standard rooms that looked over the main entrance of BWI -- sort of overlooking the driveway. When you'll be there DHS also will be doing Jingle Bell Jingle Bam earlier in the evening (like 6:30 I think) and there are fireworks with that, but not as extensive.

Sorry for your loss. I hope you, your mom, and your children have a nice trip.

Thank you for the tips! I didn't realize the Jingle Bell Jingle Bam was so early in the evening. It is 6:30, I just looked it up. We'll actually be able to make it to that!

Only 2 more days!!! Yay!! BUT looking at the weather forecast......:( I know it's Florida and rain in the forecast everyday is typical but a 80-90% chance is making me sad.
